A big part of it is women and social media. They're obsessed. They also don't have boundaries at it. My ex fwb for example would get so many messages on instagram from randoms, would have snapchats from so many guys, etc that it was actually mind blowing. She was having sex with me though, but at the same time was still entertaining all of it. You don't think chicks in actual relationships are doing this too? Most are. If the man even mentions to her to stop he is labeled insecure.

What happens is that most typical females have unlimited options and can drop a guy or be picky about a guy over something ridiculous. A lot men just don't want to deal with it.

When I used to go to my mother's university reunion there was flocks of daughters there that were all either young professionals and/or heiresses to the family business.
