how can people actually believe the body just stops protecting you from infection at 3 months. Why not 2.5 months? Why not 4 months? Why not 1 month or 6 months? no, it's going to be 3 months to coincide with the duration that a vaccine is effective
I asked the pharmacist at Safeway yesterday, what are the current general guidelines and she said that the shot gives 2 months of protection, 2!

Seriously though, I got the two shots so I could go traveling last year, and ended up getting Omicron like 4 weeks later when it was spreading in Argentina. Vaccines were literally useless.
Dude no one I know who didn’t get the vax got sick. Only vaccinated people are getting sick

I don't know how they arrived at 3 months, but I would hazard a guess that it's looking at relative infection and illness data.

Surely, it varies by individual, age, health, etc...

I'm sure I'm older that op, so it's more likely to make me sick if I were to get it and thus getting vaxxed makes more sense. I just had the flu and pneumonia following it...no desire to be that ill if there's a chance to take the risk down.

Most people have a low absolute risk that's real low...but if you consider relative risk it adds up to a lot of sick people when you're looking at hundreds of millions of people. People just have to go with their comfort level and also deal with whatever policies their employers may have and live with it.

It does seem like we're in a new less anxious phase but it's not gone...to me it's like sure get the shot same reason as any other and move on to other things.

1. I am un-jabbed, I caught covid from my triple jabbie GF (She got sick 5 or 6 weeks after her third shot).
2. We are both healthy, in 30's. She was pretty deep into marathon training at the time.
3. She had worse symptoms, including fever and a horrible cough that I didn't have.
4. the only symptoms I had were sore throat, very mild headache (related to my eyes), and a weird back pain like I had just done 70 pull ups the day before.

If covid wasn't on the news, I wouldn't have guess I was actually "sick"... I typically use Motrin if I am hung over, and I didn't even need that.

over the next 3 months she got sick with the flu and another cold that I did not pick up from her...

So yeah, maybe not worth taking the jab in our opinions LMAO.

Just LOL at people still "believing the science" of this man-made plandemic. Keebler Elf Fraudci is going to be swinging from his tree and some people still wear masks to go swimming.

A year goes by, I don't get any of the boosters. Caught COVID, probably omnicron. Felt SICK, but nothing more than a medium flu. Didn't feel as bad as the above, but I had LOTS of phlegm to cough up every single morning, nose issues, fatigue, unexpected muscle aches too. I lost taste but only for 24-36 hours.

Decide to go on a cruise but there was a ruling at the time that I had to get a booster shot to be considered fully vaccinated, required for the cruise. Scheduled my booster. Got the Pfizer booster, and felt like the 2nd shot in the 2nd line/paragraph above... same exact issues, cold sweats, freezing, nausea, high temperature, etc.

Never going to get another COVID shot again, would rather just get COVID srs. I'll opt to NOT even go on a cruise or trip if a vaccine is required going forward.
Just highlighting this as an example for when people think "well X % of people got boosters, so it cant be that bad". Unfortunately people are knowingly willing to sacrifice their health for a shiny object. BTW negged for taking a cruise past the age of 10 and under the age of 90, srs.
