Checks her hand at 2:20, lifts them for about 10 seconds, then puts a time chip in, you're telling me that she still misread her hand?
At around 4:30, he puts her on something like pocket 5's or has a 3, he asks "do you have a small pair?"
She replies: "You give me that much credit?", which implies she knew she didn't even have a pair...
The reasoning you guys pointed out and the interviews afterwards sounds like somebody committing a crime and then having some time afterwards to put their alibis and stories together.
Also there was a guy playing at that table who staked her? How's that even allowed.
I'm sticking to the anal plug theory signaling somehow she was technically ahead but not knowing full depth and odds of the hand.

But in Cash games you can as long as all players in the hand agree.

One time I was playing in a home game. Had 99. There was a raise before me, I call, like 3 other callers. Flop comes 9 6 3. Raiser bets, I raise, folds all the way around to the original raiser. He shoves, I obviously call. He has AA. We agree to run it twice.
He hits A on turn in both runouts. Always wondered if I was cheated on that hand.

That’s why Garrett really didn’t care that he lost the hand. He knew he lost the hand when he bricked both run outs. It wasn’t until she flipped her hand over that he was like “…wait a minute. Something ain’t right”

This chicks line playing for 100k is beyond absurd and her actions afterwards confirm what everyone is thinking.

Playing devil's advocate; it was the first time playing with the big boys and she seems so dumb that she thinks returning the money would get her back into good graces?

No one is “cheating” on a coin flip situation for $100k. So many cards on the river could have dropped her. Unless you think the dealer is in on the cheating too you’re almost as stupid as her if you think she was cheating.
She’s just dumb as a rock being bankrolled way above her depth.

I’m pretty active in the poker community and this is similar to the Mike Postle situation.
Funny since there are so many easy ways to make money if you know your opponent’s hole cards but she calls an all-in with J high in a statistically marginal situation.
Fuking lol.

You can throw it out the window. She is a fairly new player who is trying to make a name for herself and who is also fairly wealthy AND who was being staked in the game. So she called Garret's bluff lol. If any of you have watched Garret play over the years, and I have many times, what he does is put enough money on the table to cover everyone and then bully people. The Hustler casino stream has been an ATM for him. He is the best player there. Has the most money. And the rep to just bank $$$$ almost every time he plays.
So he did his usual all in against a player who he thought would fold. He does this ALL OF THE TIME. And 95% of the time they do fold. Only this lady is a little different and as I said wants to make a name for herself plus I don't think she likes Garret all that much. So she made what seems to be an outlandish call even if she thought he was bluffing. She said she thought she had a J 3 on a 10 9 x 3 board. So she thought she had a pair of 3s (She says) and was trying to bluff catch him as she said she put him on at most an Ace high. Turns out she had J 3 the previous hand and this time had J 4 and mis read her hand.
So she called him. And bear in mind she asked to run it twice. If she was really cheating and knew she would win, why would she ask to run it twice? Makes no sense.
She is just a crazy lady with money and a backer and she wanted to get Garret. It really is as simple as that.
As for Garret. IMO he looks like an idiot. And I like Garret. But first making a big scene like he did, and then sort of asking for the money back and then actually taking it. How does that look? So anytime he loses he is going to cry cheating and ask for the money back?
The fact is he is not used to losing on HCL, he did, on a crazy hand, and he went into monkey tilt and cried.
He will never live this down and at the very least should return the money she gave back to him.
