I'm talking about addictive recreational drugs. And no, I don't support Pfizer and Moderna. I support vaccination. I think they should have their patents on them stripped and made public info for everyone. And any CEO and board that willfully covers up and releases harmful drugs to the public should be executed because they'd then be just as bad as drug dealers.

Its Gen X and boomer aged folks that want the internet to be like it was back in the early 2000's, but those places cannot exist anymore. Back then, the internet was niche and normies didn't understand it. It worked because only certain types of people used it, but now you have everyone jumping into the fray and every "free-speech" platform turns to absolute chit. The racism part is tame compared to the gore and porn and CP or selling of illegal wares that these newer "free-speech" platforms have to deal with. It boggles my mind Elon didn't realize that with twitter.

There has to be restrictions or else the natural state of an open forum of discussion turns into 4chan. It took 4chan about a decade to become the chit-show its infamous for, but it was organic from actual people. Now days these newer places can go to chit in record time either due to saboteurs who just want to see the world burn, trolls spamming nigigger or simply bots spamming thousands of messages.

Fair points, but I don't think it's just boomer aged folks that want to see forums go back to how they once were. Personally I think the internet should be a free for all, however with age restrictions, hard to prove that, and easy to fake unfortunately.

The problem comes with too much censorship. Platforms can't have it both ways...protection of a public forum & the editorial control of a publisher. You CANNOT BE BOTH.

Its Gen X and Boomers that are naive enough tothinkthe internet can go back to the way it was, and unless the computer you were using had parental locks (which can easily be bypassed if you were an internet savvy kid like most are) we were all guilty of proceeding into websites with"i'm at least 18 years of age or older"warnings....when in fact, we weren't 18 years or older, lol.

Back in the before time, in the long long ago, internet drama stayed on the internet. Thats why the "wild-west" days of the internet worked. Now days, chit that happens on the internet gets blown up and makes national headlines, becomes segments on day-time talk shows, politicians get involved and legislation gets passed due to events that happen on websites, which is unfortunately why the natural progression of the internet is the boring sterility and overly censored/moderation of places like Reddit. Unironically, the early days of reddit were rightfully insane (in a good way), but its since been neutered, muzzled and thrown in a kennel with nothing but dry kibble to eat.

You want government regulation for the internet? Yeah, I'm sure that will work out just fine, not like they won't abuse their powers or anything.....

Look at how many people in this country are on some for of prescription medication. Medication that IS FDA approved, and then years down the line, are found to be harmful/fatal.

Think about this with Twitter though, you had right leaning individuals being censored, but the Taliban were allowed? Same with the Ayatollah of Iran?

And when that happens, if it is due to a coverup or negligence rather than just ignorance, those responsible should die or face prison depending on how severe the damage was.

None of those things are exclusive to black people. We live in the same country. Millions of white people all have issues with drugs, single motherhood and poverty. Why aren't you also concerned about them and why do they commit violent crime much less often?

white and black "progressives" pushed the drug revolution and the sexual revolution in the 60s. Seems like the current soft handed approach to crime and punishment somehow meant to "help" blacks which is also pushed by these very same "progressives" will be another winning strategy you'll eventually blame on people who had nothing to do with it while voting for the people who did.

lol no. When there's a salmonellea outbreak at a spinach farm and people get hospitalized and or die, should the farmer "die" for that? Thats ridiculous.

Should be able to sue the drug company if it can be proven the vaccines are harmful, but thanks to McConnell thats no longer an option

Those responsible should die or face jail time depending on how harmful they are. But they won't be found harmful because they aren't.

They are actually not exclusive to blacks, and you are seeing it creep into white populations too. I'm not for a soft handed approach. Dave the cop thinks I'm a fascist lol. I'm pretty hard line on crime.

I said if there is a coverup and gross negligence. Let's say an e coli outbreak happens. If the farmer knowingly discovers it and does nothing, he has scienter and should be held responsible for the consequences. If he acts in good faith to stop it when he discovers it, he is not responsible.

The scienter is key here.

Gross negligence would be harder to prove as many of these manufacturing facilities (like the one I work at) are audited once per quarter. So should the auditor die for not catching deviations in manufacturing? See how silly and slippery slopish this all sounds? This isn't the 19th century, we've evolved past killing people for such offenses.....and BTW sometimes it is intentional, maybe a farmer buys too many chickens and the runoff of feces spreads to the spinach farms causing the outbreak. We don't "KILL" people for that....how about this; you go to a farmers market and buy some produce and chop up a salad, and grandma (along with a half dozen other people) get sick from it and dies. Do you want to kill the farmer for that?

No. If your actions lead to deaths, you should be killed. If you're merely fined, then you may find your activities to be worth the expected value given the likelihood of you being caught. I see. You're trying to strawman me.

Let me be crystal clear. I am talking about gross negligence or deliberate wrongdoing. Not normal fluke events. Example: GSK releasing Avandia and covering up the data showing it caused heart failure. Those responsible should be killed. If the board knew, they should also be killed.

If a farmer discovers contamination and deliberately covers it up to continue to profit, he should pay with his life if people die due to his actions. I'm not talking about flukes. I am talking about a willful coverup with malicious intent to profit, failing to do your due diligence as a member of society to prevent harm as a result of your business practices. And you'd have to causally link what the farmer did.

well, thats not happening. You'd scare small business owners out of the market place. People aren't perfect, sometimes mistakes happen.

and when it comes to drugs, you're not killing anyone involved even if they intentionally cover up data showing its harmful. Those guys are worth hundreds of millions of dollars if not a billions. There's no country actively killing its multimillionaire/billionaire citizens. Even if they WANTED to they couldn't because somewhere down the line in their conviction someone will get paid off handsomely to just overlook or dismiss charges. or maybe a guard will get paid off to look the other way to allow them to escape prison to a non-extraditable country.

kinda off topic but my grandfather had a heart attack from the arthritis drug Vioxx which was also pulled off the market. He didn't die from it (he died from cancer) but it certainly diminished his quality of life in his final years.

You're being so shamelessly dishonest ignoring the rest of my quote or my fuking point. China has executed people, including billionaires, for knowingly harming their citizens. Not every country is as cucked. In our country, what you said may be true. It doesn't hold in countries where the state controls a lot of the capital. That's why many of their rich flee. If a company is intentionally killing people, whoever is responsible should pay with their life.
