Yea I thought we were talking about warning labels to not drink bleach. I thought those were put there by Clorox on purpose to avoid being sued. Ah a very small portion - the greatest impact was pre-natal care and medical advancements during labor. The biggest difference wasn't babies living longer but more babies being born alive.

Doesn't mortality depend on both being born alive and how long one is alive, to account for population size?

Point being, the information should stand on its own accord regardless of the person sharing it. No need to attack characters because, again, everyone has been wrong and it gives too much power to sway information(see also, control information via interpretation). Hell, using your example, every single news article you ever read online would have to come with a warning saying the people who wrote it are full of sh!t and have been proven so repeatedly.

It should be relevant to the post. Like if some guy posts flat Earth, they can link you all the chit proving it's round. If an article is shown to be false, it should be amended. You're trying to do this false equivalence where you act like Alex Jones is a reliable source of news. He's wrong far more than most. Objectively and demonstrably so. Anyway, my point is if he is selling some dick pill or saying the Earth is flat or something, you can label it appropriately.

We agreed a lot in this thread but that’s where you lost me. So in your scenario every article where they talk about all their evidence of WMDs people could read it with no counter-argument, but every time someone tried to say there were no WMDs the consumer would be bombarded with the narrative they were trying to push(that WMDs were there). That quickly steers public opinion down the path those in charge want it to go. Not to mention they would manipulate the data, numbers, and other information to paint the narrative they want, which we already see.
