Bro, you made a thread how you “broke up” with your FWB. And you were “exclusive” for a long time, which doesn’t even make sense.

You’re not the one to be lecturing, especially with your marriage ending the way that it did.

Exit the thread.

I understand your perspective, and i agree. If anybody had come up to me with the same stories i would probably react the same way you are reacting. I think you have misinterpreted a bit the dynamic of our relationship but thats irrelevant, in the end, what matters it that it wasnt healthy and that i put up with unecessary **** for way too long which only made things worse.

Sure bro. I saw your other posts, you don't have frame and you tolerated a bunch of nonsense. You don't even engage in these stupid conversations - and if she's punk testing you in public and you're being meek afraid she might fly off the handle because you looked at another woman, that tells everybody who knows even the most basic things about women everything we need to know, you're weak and not leading.

Told her she needed to fix that or else she wouldnt be able to have a sucesfull relationship with me or anybody else for that matter, and she agreed. Even went to the shrink often just to try to figure out how to control her insecurity.
She felt insecure because she realized you were weak.
She would SOB after every fake conflict, she would start telling me she knew she was fuked up and that she was working on it. Told her i was done a couple of times and after tears and some begging id be weak and take her back. So yeah, that was my mistake ill give you that, letting that go unchecked with no consequences.
How do you not see what's going on here? Her higher / logical brain is telling her you are a good guy, which you probably are - but her LOWER/PRIMAL brain is screaming "THIS GUY IS SOFT" and so she kept initiating this nonsense and you kept failing the test. This shows you have no abundance, you didn't have other options lined up or just generally available at anytime (because you aren't high value enough) and that's also why you kept taking her back (if that's true) in your moments of weakness. Does a strong man with options and a mission in life deal with this kind of nonsense and take a woman back....or does he keep moving on with this mission and absorb a multitude of other women who will HAPPILY jump at the opportunity just to be NEXT to a man like that...let alone his main.

Take this info man - I'm telling you - You're value is low, you aren't dedicated at your mission (whatever it is) and you have very weak frame. You will continue to be unsuccessful with women over the long term until you fix those issues.

This isnt about not having other options, that wasnt ever a concern. She knows who she was with, she knows how women reacted and she knows what i can offer a woman, thats why she felt so paranoid and insecure about losing me.

But yeah, you are right about me letting it get this far, that was surely a mistake and shouldnt have put up with for so long. I didnt let it go this far because of lack of options or a scarcity mentality, i let it go this far because i really liked her and i was in a comfort zone. She treated me like a God and made sure all my needs were taken care of at all times, thats how she got reassurance for the relationship. Her mentality was "okay im taking care of all his needs and then some, surely he wont need to find someone else". This was basically the issue, she made me the center of her world.

Live and learn my bro.

Id have put a few babies in her if she didnt have those issues srs. Marriage is a trickier subject, i wasnt completely against it, but also it wasnt something i was planning on. Marriage is dead in 2023, or unnecessary at best, at least thats how i see it, but if thats something that would have been a deal breaker, for a woman i truly believe i want her to be the mother of my kids, then yeah id have no problem marrying her. Im not worried about financial consequences or anything.

That would make sense if my end goal was to get married. It isnt tho

Ive never posted pics of her lol, you have never seen her face.

You dont have to establish those things as i think are common sense, but yeah, what you describe its exactly how she is. Once she lost it because we were watching a netflix show and a really hot girl was on it, and i never even said anything or made a sound and yet she made a fight about how id rather have her lol.

Plenty of crazy stories like that. At first i thought she was just trolling or trying to start **** for the hell of it, like a crazy girl would just to have some drama or whatever, but she was actually that insecure. Would often ask me question about random girls we know and asked me if i thought they were hot, she wouldnt ask me about ugly girls either all bombshells lol, so i would have to evade the question like a ******* and basically tell her i wouldnt replace her as what i liked about her was her whole persona not just her looks (which are amazing btw, shes really hot)

She wasnt cheated on the past. That was my theory too but that isnt it. Her parents are nice too, so i really didnt have an explanation for it. Maybe thats just her cross to carry.

Agree with pretty much everything. Thats why i broke things off before the one year mark, even tho i could have kept things going for much longer. I mean i really liked her, sex was great, our good times were great and the bad times when shed start random ****, well TBH at the end didnt even phase me, simply made me think "ok here we go".

I simply thought i wasnt ready to marry or put kids in this woman and commit to her for a life-long thing, and i honestly didnt think i could become ready in 2 years of the same thing, so decided to rip the bandaid off.
If she's great except for the insecurities thing, I suggest you call her and meet up somewhere to talk. You need to lay down your rules about how the relationship will be and where it will be going. At that point she can work on her issues, or she can be single.

I had to yo do this, but not with my wife, but with her mother. She even came at me because I didn't ask her for her daughter's hand in marriage.

Disagree bro. If i came up to her and be like "hey actually i want to still be with you but just fix your issues", especially after i just made her pack her ****... that makes no sense. I had that talk many times before breaking up with her, now its too late.

If i do that, shes going to think "okay he cant be without me" and shes going to be the exact same as she was before after a month or two

I used to be a big believer of “live together before marriage” but nowadays I’m not so sure. When you live alone and start getting to know a girl and things go fine, it’s real easy to just say “hey why don’t you just stay”.

I guess we get wiser with age lol.

Also I dont believe in marriage either so it’s tricky
gotta disagree with you boys. You don't really know someone until you live with them. Why wait til marriage (binding contract) to find out some bad news?

I was in the same boat few years ago.
Dumped ex of 6 years.
Felt really guilty for breaking her heart etc.

Bro you have to Remember that If she could have gotten any better than you she would have dumped you without thinking twice. Girl madly in love with her hubby will throw him away like a used tampong If she knows for certai she Can Get a better man.

If she had exes before you she guaranteed dumped them & forgot about them within a week.

Think of that whenever you feel guilty about choosing your own needs over hers.

As for taking her back you have to Remember that the same issue that made you dump her will always return. The dame thoughts will enter your mind and the second break up will be Even Worse since you gave her false hope.

Stay safe brah

Did you ever go to a therapist with her?

Very interesting she was actively working on it and nothing got "uncovered" and/or fixed.

She seemed completely unable to act rationally and identify when her emotions were getting the best of her in that moment.

I think some women have had role models instill in them at an early age that men are simply not to be trusted and you must control/monitor them to stop them from cheating.

Ok, I did not know that you made her pack her stuff and literally kicked her out.

But what I mean is less fix your issues, and more, this is how things are gonna be regardless of your issues.

Sometimes you gotta be quite stern with women, with people in general, force is the only thing that humans understand universally.

Never went with her, but i was open to it. Yeah, she would go trough a phase of losing it and being convinced that id would change her for any girl that looked cute or hot. She woudnt be able to come back to reality, she would be convinced she isnt enough, and then she would tell me that since shes starting a conflict and making me feel uncomfortable, that will only drive me away further, so shed get even worse. It was a cycle of negativism and insecurity and she would feed her own demons.

Its weird because she didnt seem to have daddy issues nor past trauma from other relationships. Although she did tell me that she behaved similarly with exes and she didnt understand why was she so insecure, although to her knowledge she never got cheated, and she was always the dumper.

It wasnt BPD or bipolar disorder either, ive dealt with that stuff in the past. She was legit insecure and scared of me replacing her to the point that she basically caused me dumping her. Told her many times thats what would happen if she kept at it and she knew and tried to work on herself, but i guess i ran out of patience.

That ship has sailed my man. Thanks for the advice tho, i simply cant let go negative or toxic behaviors just because they may be perfect on other things.

Dealing with the mother is not even in the same ballpark. Besides a mother coming at you because you didn't ask for permission is not insecurity. I had to go away for my job. My girlfriend at the time was all for ldr. However, by the next morning she flipped and was hostile. She got in her head I was set to cheat on her that is insecurity.

Everyone in relationships has problems, people have problems, people get divorced all the time

A marriage contract isn't a safeguard

Yep, people divorce over dumb chit all the time. SS, that rich old guy that you may plan on getting into a marriage contract with someday won’t be any more special of a relationship than the ones you have with the chubby football players you’re sleeping with.

Never got married thank God. I guess I’ve dodged a bullet before already. Don’t remember if I was trolling or serious but that relationship taught me lots of things. Was a bitch back then not gonna lie.

Lol at the screenshot tho, not even I can find old posts or threads of mine. You Aristotelian?
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Can’t feel love without feeling grief, that’s the price. Dear diary I know, misc has been my go to shrink since I was 16 (which by know I should probably know that it’s a bad idea lol)
Life takes us to strange places

I hope you’re doing alright brah, srs.

Joys come with pain attached to them eventually, and impermanence makes things valuable.

God forbid we were out eating and a hot girl came inside the place, id get anxious as **** because she would often accuse me of eye fuking them or whatever. Just became too toxic, and she was like this since day 1.
I had one EXACTLY like that too. She was a great girl in many other ways. It just got the point where I couldn’t tolerate it anymore though. I remember thinking “damn, I should just go cheat on her because I’m already paying the price for something I’m not even doing.” It was rough. Never again.
