We can't deny higher education does have a tendency to turn people liberal. If you study a rich variety of university level subjects you see the world in a more informed manner and encounter a plurality of philosophies and perspectives. Critical thinking is crucial to passing classes.

When your classmates are from diverse walks of life means increased empathy. You have less propensity to blind hatred. You can't really hate gays when your professor is gay but a world renowned academic. Nor can you see blacks as inferior when they are leading academic departments.


College education is incompatible with conservatism a lot of the time and it's not because of Marxist cabals who conspire in smoke-filled rooms. It's just reality.

I firmly believe any combining of church and state is not what real Christians want to happen. They ought to know that Mixing It’ll lead to the government having control over who worships and how.

This will setup a Sunday law. Blue law. Like nationwide. It’s more devious than simply getting the 10 commandments into Public schools and public prayer.

Over the centuries our genes became more corrupt, degraded, and impure so now having children with close relatives causes all sort of defects. Including our soil, food, water, etc which as said were perfect at the beginning of time became worse. Sickness and disease fell in too because of this and all things were no longer pure, good, or perfect like god initially created them to be.

Sex between close relatives only became sin during the time of Moses by which time there were enough humans and tribes spread across the world where it wasn’t needed to multiply.

So yeah looking at Lot in 2023 feels icky and wrong but in the old testament it wasn’t. Not until Leviticus.

Honestly? I'm an atheist who would rather not see kids indoctrinated. Let them get older and start forming their own opinions about things, and then if they decide they'd like some Jesus in their lives then rock on with it. I can respect that.

The golden rule seems to be dead, so Texas is trying an experiment even though religion is supposed to be a separate matter.
I see it as a way to make people civilized and humane.
It isn't indoctrination if you are exposed and then reject it later, it is just called exposure.
I was exposed to dissecting frogs and i have not touched a frog since.
I will leave all things tranny to you and your expertise on that particular topic.
