I agree wholeheartedly. We had it right in the 90s-early 00s but somewhere along the line we lost sight of that. Instead of celebrating or being proud of differences now everyone thinks they're a huge victim that's suffering at the hands of other demographics.

It's unfortunate but I think that they've succeeded in dividing us in nearly all categories. Black vs white, men vs women, left vs right, culture wars etc. Social media is partly to blame due to echo chambers that get people so emotionally charged that they can't even comprehend that someone has a different world view. Or if they do, they treat that person as their enemy.

That's why I'm always saying redditors and miscers have more in common than they know. I think people get a thrill out of being part of their respective cults as opposed to looking at each problem objectively. If we did, it'd be clear that someone's pulling the wool over our eyes. Something nefarious is going on and keeping us divided is a surefire way to make sure it continues.

Untamed? Native Americans knew how to farm and take care of their tribes prior to Europeans coming over to America. Europeans brought diseases over because they had poor bathing practices. This was even seen during the Bubonic Plague. Native Americans taught many of the settlers how to use the land, hunt, etc. Keep in mind Europeans almost brought Bison to near extinction and the Natives were using every part of the animal for food, shelter, warmth, etc.

There were Native Americans that were able to translate for tribesmen and the new settlers of the US too. They may have not had sophisticated weaponry but they knew how to certainly use the land they were on top of effectively.

Not saying Europeans didn't bring anything positive over but to act as though Europeans "civilized" society over here is absolute ethnocentric bull****.
