I understand what OP is driving at but ultimately it's a dumb conceptualisation.

Moving away from women for a second and talking about myself. I don't do fatties... like, using OPie's terminology, I have something of a "fat threshold". But even still, it's very hard for me to pin-point where it is exactly. Only the EXTREME ends are clear, like real porkers and obese women are just a no-go. Nothing can be done to make me attracted to them. I generally like skinny birds, but there is some leeway and if everything else is appealing I have found myself occasionally attracted to some girls with slight chub on them.

But then you have to factor in that men are a lot more looks driven than women. One of OPie's main issues is that he continually fails to recognise just how much his own personal obsession with looks distorts his thoughts on everything, which invariable also leads him to projecting it onto other people.

"Standards" is a far better term to capture what OP is basically getting at.

misc constantly misunderstands the reality of this. Men are more looks driven but have way lower standards in looks. For example, men swipe on right 50% of the time on dating apps. Women swipe right mainly on the top 10% of guys.

Women are way more strict and narrow in what they find physically attractive and what they're willing to fuk.

The idea that they're less looks driven just means, even if you meet her looks threshold she may still reject you for other reasons. it doesnt mean her looks threshold is easier to meet than men's. its very clearly not.
