its not a personal attack, I just cant stand gamers complaining about every single thing. A game will do 99 things right and the very first thing out of their mouths will be the one complaint. Its just negative, its launch day can we just be happy and positive for one damn day?

Man I really like how alot of the side missions are connected to specific characters and building their relationship and how dialogue can change things. didnt expect that kind of thing.

I've already almost 100% ed the first area, focusing on the side stuff first and then main missions. Think I have the first big boss pretty soon.

jesus fuking christ boys i just got cucked.All the deluxe editions are sold old and i dont see myself getting one if they restock cause the scalpers are fuking everyone so i just spent $185 on ebay for it. Im fuking pissed.Its supposed to be gaurantee preorder but im still pissed.maybe i should of waited but im not gonna chance it

10 hours in finally completed everything in the first area.


15 hours in total and i've been clearing off Junon area.



It's crazy how good this game looks. Absolutely incredible effort bringing this game out in just 4 years.

I turned performance mode on my 4K tv. Love the graphics and the terrains are stunning. **** PC graphics nerdy af. Just game.

They did it man. They fuking did it. Also about the same place, just got to junon last night, at like 11 or 12 hours. gonna clear it out.

I missed like 2 things in grasslands because I just didnt know how to get to them. And you cant fast travel back to other towns yet, but I need to find Chad cause I also forgot to fight/get titan.

Who's your main party? I'm going chalk for the most part cloud tifa aerith, but starting to mix in barret a little and when we get Yuffie gonna rotate her in.

On a scale of FFXV (1) to Witcher 3 (10), how "open world" is this?


Fanboys were all over FFXV until everyone figured out it sucked.

Im not that far yet but I'd say 8. There are linear dungeons/chapters but outside of those there seem to be big open areas with tons of icons of things to do, like classic ubisoft

However....this has my interest. All the nostalgia feels.

Yea I would play remake first, because its a great game and everything will just hit better.

obviously you dont NEED to because you can do a recap video or something for the story, but even the way the gameplay builds from remake to rebirth I think its a good idea to do both.

Word. Maybe ill do that. I kinda just lost interest in XVI i think because it just seemed like a "reskin" of every other game that progresses through crafting, areas, etc. Maybe i should pick it back up.

Just do the first sidequest ... with that old man at the farm in Junon area and you'll get the option to travel back to grasslands.



Goin with Barret, Cloud and Aerith for now. I like Barret being able to tank and for range, while Aerith has good magik ability. I wanna slot in my love Tifa though.

After you beat the game once then you canSpoiler!
remove cloud from your party
at will. Which my main party will look different but I always pick Barrett he can tag enemies when they’re moving around In high places which has helped me on some epic bosses.

The big red Clifford cat for example and lessers Yuffie I only use if the story dictates the party.
