Have you ever seen them make a nuanced and detailed post presenting an ideological viewpoint and its pros and cons along with some persuasive argument to support it? I have not.

So perhaps you’re right in that you’ve actually made meaningful contribtuons, but again the VAST majority of people who do, don’t go online and lie about stuff while assuming a fake persona.

No meaningful education? Where are you getting that? I went back and finished my PhD dissertation during covid and defended it remotely. Then, within a bit over year, I got hired as a data scientist. I make good money now, and my investments in Amazon and Nvidia have gone to the moon. Not sure what your problem is. My life is still chitty, but much less chitty than before.

Even when I insult people, I usually make my argument clear. There are exceptions when it is just so obviously ridiculous that it warrants nothing but an insult (like some of Dave's strawmen replies or racist comments made by various posters).

If you play the ball first, or at least eventually, it's not the point of OP.
The problem is you’re having to move the goalposts so far that the very people you were attacking originally are now exempt from criticism due to all the exceptions you’ve created to excuse the behavior from people you like.


The conservatives also address that topic of the thread while ridiculing posters. Glad to see you don’t have a problem with that behavior now.

I called it, nothing but deflection and excuses. But now, with a healthy dose of goal post shifting.

It's now OK to "play the man", as long as you pretend to "play the ball".
