It's harder for people over 50.

Not saying it's impossible. But it feels a million times harder than it was in my 20s, mostly because I have no energy now.

And if thats the case im truly screwed as I've potentially got decades more life this way and I'd like to enjoy it.
Incel is the key word here and it implies that something is missing. So the answer is no. If you just meant celibate then the answer is yes.

One of the key tenets of a fulfilled life is positive relationships and that can be accomplished by having a healthy relationship with yourself.

However, if you are seeking a relationship with some other human but that is unfulfilled then you won't be completely happy.

Happiness is an American myth and lie used to sell consumer goods. It's a fleeting thing. No one is "happy". Life is suffering and struggle. We should try to make it less miserable. To be "happy" in a world full of poverty, disease, and injustice is to be a sociopath. And that is what American civilization fundamentally is: a society founded on sociopathic values that dehumanize people. You're supposed to be miserable and mad. Because this system is manmade. It wasn't given by some divine being. It is imposed upon you by chitty people who seek to do chitty things out of greed and boredom.

how do you know no one is "happy"? You've experienced the life experience of all 7-8 billion people on this planet?

Have you ever met a happy person? People experience happiness. Just like they experience fear and doubt and anger. It isn't a permanent state of being or a goal in itself. Happiness is itself brought by stimuli. And your brain adapts to stimuli. If you keep pursuing happiness, this is isomorphic to greed. Nothing will satisfy you eventually, and you will keep chasing more highs because you will become accustomed to the experiences you already have.

He SEEMS happy. Why do you think he is chasing so many different women and collecting so many cars? He wants more and more and MORE because his ape brain has adapted to what he has.

The pursuit of happiness is bullchit. We should pursue a better future for humanity. We should pursue a better understanding of this universe. We could hack our way into a state of happiness with drugs. It won't solve anything. An emotional state is not a fuking goal.

This is my biggest issue with America really. The Soviets had a direction. Even the nazis had a direction. America has no mission. It simply wants to promote liberty and happiness. But that is stagnation and greed. That is not bettering humanity. America tangentially does this by promoting science and technology, but it isn't part of the core mission the way it was in the USSR. We don't have a core mission beyond letting people feel free to do whatever to try to be "happy". But that's not important in the grand scheme. Perhaps we should be unhappy and struggle for a purpose.

Elon Musk is on antidepressants. Neither Bill Gates nor Bezos could save their marriages. Studies routinely show that wealthier countries have higher depression rates. And it's because of the sociopathic system.

It's simply normal for people to get used to their surroundings. They adapt to situations and become accustomed to things. We are biological machines.

Does that involve not asking out women who are interested in you?

What you actually want is to have endless options. Be honest.

Did you read what I told you? I am probably the only person here with the lived experience to teach you how to get through this. I am telling you to find your purpose and will in the fight to liberate your people. You need to stop trying to conform to America and stop trying to live the American lie sold to you.

Perhaps. Perhaps not. It's irrelevant to your existence. You can and should go on anyway and not squander your life here.

It is hard. And the road is long and painful. But like I said, it IS your burden to bear. Your parents have protected you from the reality of this world, but now you must take up the fight and take up the cause. The struggle to liberate your people is not even close to over. It has barely begun. And you will find meaning and purpose in that.

Content is more of the baseline people are looking for. All feelings are fleeting. But at every point in time you are feeling something. So strive to feel peace, content, happiness, gratitude, etc. Ive found that putting myself in places that cause me to struggle (like you mentioned earlier) allows me to experience the other baseline. Struggle a lot for 1.5 hours........spend of the of the rest of your 10 hours awake feeling content or seeing things with gratitude.
