Maybe I’m pessimistic, but I don’t believe you can trust women beyond a point. They are way too emotionally erratic in general.
If she’s in close proximity with an attractive (?) likable guy on a consistent basis, who’s to say an she won’t develop and emotional connection to him that could blossom into something more? First comes the harmless flirting, then the fantasies, then the lapse in your relationship, then..
