Correct. He will lose his NA tag once he gets officially called up. If you have a player in the your NA slot who is no longer NA eligible, you can keep them there, but you cannot make any roster moves (adding players, you can drop to clear a spot) until they're moved to a slot in your active roster.

The only "problem" with the league is that the Keepers never reset. So unless you trade the farm for Mike Trout, whoever had him first could technically have him forever. Most Keeper Leagues have a "reset" at some point, meaning you can only keep a guy x amount of years and then he is no longer keeper eligible for that owner.

It's really the only way for balance in the league. So the same owners don't stay being the Astros, Yankees, Dodgers and Rays and us other guys stay being the Pirates, Reds, Rockies and A's.

Is it though? I picked up Michael Harris and Strider last year. Bobby Witt Jr the year before. I also picked up Clase 2 years ago. Those are 4 of my keepers. You can definitely re-build a team without selling everything you have for that loser Trout.

Just to note. I have no problem with teams only being able to keep players for a max # of years. Too many guys need to shake up their team.

always felt like the best keeper setting was keep whoever you want, in exchange for the pick you drafted them at minus 5 rounds.

I drafted Strider in the late rounds last year. Picked up Harris when he was called up.

Damn minus 5 rounds? So essentially you'd only be able to keep 1 person from first six rounds of a draft?

yea but then since you got harris off the wire you get him in round 20 the next year, 15 the year after, etc.

Not opposed to putting limits on keepers, although that might overly complicate things.

Props to Saalty and Chill who have always been down to shake things up and move on from top guys. Imagine it’s just to create a challenge for themselves rather than always have the top slate of keepers.

What fun is fantasy if you aint shakin and bakin? Couldn't imagine keeping the same stale guys over and over again. Sure I've gotten demolished on trades. Fantasy goes on though.

What I don't understand is you have the same guys in here keeping the same players expecting different results. They're also the ones who are impossible to trade with. Try something different.
