I think everyone knows that BCH is a purely manipulated coin. Why would I keep my money in BTC/alts if I'm expecting manipulation?
I didn't put my money into BTC, even when BTC kept having these "free money" forks, out of principle. I didn't support BTC forks.... As a result, I missed out on enormous gains with bleeding alts for half a year. Now I just follow the money.

If BCH is so bad, why doesn't BTC actually improve their tech to wipe BCH off the map?

My BAT and IOTA always have balls of steel during these drops, BAT in particular never really moves at all big one way or the other. Hoping to jettison my OMG someday and I'll be stress free.

Stress free is having 95% of your investments in a low risk diversified stock portfolio. Even when the market really tanks like in '08 it bounces back and you end up back where you were beforehand relatively quick. With crypto this chit could go up in smoke and never return, but it's like hooking up with a tatted drug abusing 10/10 who can fuk like a pro, the danger and unknown is exciting lmao

Because increasing block size is a short-sighted solution that impacts decentralization tenants. Lightning (or 2nd layer) is the best solution to date.
Basically, rather than sending every transaction to the blockchain and waiting for confirmation, the LN relies on the creation of payment channels between users. If I plan to pay Starbucks in Bitcoin many times, we can create a payment channel together.

Whenever I want to pay Starbucks, I send an updated transaction script via our payment channel with an updated payment amount. In the end, if Starbucks or I want to cash out our payment channel, we can close the channel and push it to the blockchain.

The only times I interact with the main blockchain are the opening and closing of the payment channel. All other transactions are instant-confirmation, high-speed, zero-fee ones.

Roger addressed this on CNBC Fast Money last night. He said something like "There's no reason why BCH can't look into Lightning or second layer solutions too and it would work better" ?implying it's in the works.

Yeah...if BTC delivers, then BCH will be worthless. But the reason BCH is still relevant is cause BTC doesn't have the tech right now.

I don't care which coin wins. Whichever is the better coin with better tech that solves problems will win.

It's Bitcoin Core that's breaking off every other day though to band aid different problems - SegWit, SegWit2x, Gold, Diamond, Uranium, Super Bitcoin..

Well I'll be ****ed if I understand how to send tokens around on ethereum. What the actual **** is "gas" and what the crap is GWEI and ****, y no just a miners' fee like other coins? Trying to send 31,000 tokens but my account has insufficient funds, does that mean I need some actual ETH in the wallet at the same time?

And it's why coinbase is so successful. Everything is very simple on there, easy to use for borderline tech illiterate people. Just plug in your bank info or a credit card and hit that buy button
