Out of curiousity - did you do dat dere machine gun hauling? Couldn't even imagine how much that would suck. I've gone hunting with a 10lb Savage rifle and hated my life after 4 or 5 hours with it.

Then he doesn't understand what mgtow is, because mgtow is a choice to deprioritize women because it will better your life. That's not an incel

I swear to god I get the strangest reactions from women. So as most of you know I lost my job in Jan, but I recently picked up a factory gig. Friends with quite a few bartenders in my city (shout out to the miscers that said this was a good social connect) and my boy was like "hey man you wanna make some cash restocking stuff, and checking IDs?". I was like almost 100 bucks for like 5 hours of work? Sure. Every guy I spoke to the entire night was polite like a normal person.

"Hey guys have a great night"
"Sup guys?" *Check IDs, stamp hands, and etc

Every guy was warm, and chill.

However there were so many times I'd say these things and the women would just not respond, or outright pretend I didnt say anything. Or act kinda weird. I 100% know for a fact they were doing this because they didn't want to get hit on or etc. Women always do this. Always code, stand offish, and essentially they are in defense mode to stop any approaches. One of the guys even said "what was that all about?" (Spoiler Alert: He is a Chad ). There was also a girl there that flaked on a date she schedule. I politely said hey while walking past and she literally looked at the ground, said hey, and walked away. Literally avoided being near me until she left and if she walked by she looked the opposite way. I got a little salty, but then I just laughed it off, got my $, and dipped. I swear this feels like some sitcom and everyone is on it but me.

welcome to the metoo era, where you're either a chad or a rapist.

If you're being polite to some woman who flaked on you and she's not even acknowledging your presence for whatever reason and feels weird around you for whatever reason then that's on her. It's a shame how certain woman can't act cordial with guys after they rejected them. The other women were just weird, just because you're black, doesn't mean you're gonna hit on every chick out there (I'm assuming race might play a part in this since there's a stereotype where black guys are aggressive and will hit on everything)

I agree its on her, but its pretty wild how I get treated. The bar I was helping at is a mostly white establishment but who knows. Maybe if I was white with a similar face/build the same thing would have happened.

Probably. From what you told me before, Lucifer went through something similar and he's white.

Must be average or below average tbh. Or maybe he has a baby face like Psycho does. Do women think you look older or younger than your age suggests?

No Beard=Younger
With Beard=Older

However my face us always semi chubby. Like Lebron or Dwyane Wade. They are all lean dudes, but they have chubby face that hide any sort of jaw line. (Seems to be a West African thing from what I've gathered)

Walked into a study group tonight at 10PM. One guy catches me spacing hard and goes "you look ****ed up, bro. You need to get to sleep."

Still here 2 hours later, barely functional but copying formula sheets. Feels OK man.

Test tomorrow morning is gonna go in fukkin dry.

School is really wearing me down brahs. I just need to vent.

Test today went mediocre, and the minute it ended, I went upstairs to a computer lab to do dat dere circuit designs. I've been at since 1PM, and it's now 3AM. Took a break for fast food lunch, skipped dinner, skipping sleep even though I have 7 hours in class tomorrow (srs). I talked to the professor today, talked to the TA, talked to other students, and I just can, not, get, this, thing, ****ing, working. 3 circuits we have to lay out, and in an entire day, I have one working. I'm far from the only person struggling with this, but I've seen one or two guys finish all 3, so I know it's possible. Barring a miracle though, I'm going to fail the lab for this week.

And that's what frustrates me. I've **** the bed on hw in this class, the labs, the test, everything, and I'm putting probably the most time in to this class out of any I've ever had. I can work on school stuff all ****ing day if there's signs of progress, but if you are going to put a 15 hour day into a lab and fail anyway, then you really start wondering what's the point. This is the introductory grad class in our program, and I don't know how hard the other ones are, but if there's like this, then I am backing the **** out of grad school and cancelling my internship for this summer (hired basically conditionally on going to grad school) ASAP, cause this is miserable. My best effort right now is just not doing good enough. And I know it's all you can do, but it's a tough pill to swallow when you work your hardest just to get terrible results.

Worst part too is that I've basically backed myself into another all-nighter tomorrow. I've had a week to finish some math homework, but blew it off to put almost every waking minute into hw + test + lab for that circuits class. So I've got a week's worth of **** to do before Thursday morning, and my last class gets out at 9PM tomorrow (ded srs). I hate my ****ing life rn.

Would luv to help you bro but I don't know what to advise...

But what I will say is that I'm envious you put in your best with that chit. One thing that's characterised most of my life is that I've never given my best, never tried my hardest, which I suspect is rooted in a strong fear of failure.

EDIT: You've been whinging about your work load for as long as I can remember and you seemingly always pull through, so I'm guessing the same will happen again?

Sounds like my last semester of college w/21 Credit Hours and working full time at Applebees, and part time at the internet helpdesk (internship). I never slept so hard as I did the day after we finished, lol. It's about prioritization of time. I blew off what I could, and put more time into the subjects I knew would require more effort (like ignoring Algebra 2 homework and focusing on C++ or English 2 which had tons of assignments/reports/etc). It sounds like you're doing that, but that maybe you've bitten off more than you can chew.

Looked like I landed an IT Help desk position. $15.00 an hour, but there is potential for growth. That said I can still pay all of my bills with that while I wait on the word from my old job. The company also has Web Development openings as well.

EDIT: Also rocking this exact cut at the moment. People have been mirin. Didn't really think my hair would curl at all but gel + curl sponge = dope look

2 things:

1) do not conflate working hard with making progress. The reality is a lot more complex than that. When I was doing my degree I would often get stuck and the worst thing you can do is keep at it. Take a break, reset your mind and you will be amazed how a seemingly impossible problem becomes simple when you allow your mind to view it in a different way.

Based on what I'm reading it sounds like you're working at 10% mental agility at the moment as you're trying to out work the problem instead of working smarter and more efficiently.

2) use people around you. Why can you not ask the guys who have completed the 2 other circuits for help? I did a lot during my degree. Don't say something stupidly encompassing like 'how do you do it'. Say 'ive got to x bit but how do you integrate this component into y part. You're obviously the God at this, can you help me out?'

Those 2 bits of advice helped me massively through my degree

Couple of updates:

-I tried to leave humanity behind and pull a second all nighter on Wednesday/Thursday, but I passed out around 3 AM. Skipped 2 classes Thursday but got the assignment done.

-Didn't see that girl in my math class Thursday so I didn't get to talk to her. NBD, cause I was pretty ****ing wasted and the chances of me going full autism were pretty high.

-WRT to those circuit sims that had me wanting to ragequit life on Tuesday, I think everyone got jacked up by them. The professor apologized on Thursday and gave us some pretty key info that he had left out (apparently this Lab 2 was the old Lab 5, and there was a LOT of **** missing in between the two), along with another week extension to finish it. This weeks' Lab 3 is also due at the same time, so that'll keep me busy. I know 2 guys who just went ahead and dropped the class anyway. Still strongly reconsidering if grad school is something I want to do.

-Yesterday was Thursday night, so guess what I had...

Was trying to post an update for the misc last night, but the sleep deprivation and beers got to me and I passed out on my laptop while writing it.

It sounds like you're doing that, but that maybe you've bitten off more than you can chew.
I legit don't know how you are alive after that.

Mirin hard. Would not sweat leaving that factory job at all, they expect massive turnover and there's good reason for it. A manufacturer my dad used to work for averaged about 40% turnover yearly.

Yeah, I was just going pure brute force for half that time. Couldn't think straight enough to do anything else. You are right that that's very low productivity time, but my approach with my back to a deadline, very low productivity > no productivity.

I was working with 4-5 people in the lab, but they all went home around midnight. Guess they were smarter than I was.

Yeah I definitely can see why. The factory Im at doesnt even hire directly. Everyone is essentially working for a temp agency. You can work with them forever, but people quit all the time because of the burnout. However they will take you back like 30 days after quitting.

One thing that has always confused me politically in this country are black people that are seemingly against guns. You would think with the unfortunate history of this country that if anything black people would endorse an idea of a constitutional right to protect yourself and even fight against tyranny. The ability to arm and defend themselves against anyone that would even consider stopping your social or economic progression? What isn't attractive to this c Yet many in this demographic seem to set on the idea that the same state that perpetuated their misery is going state is going to protect and provide security when history has shown that is and always will be anything but the case.
