I don't really know, the whole thing is kind of confusing. Maybe they had already released some funds and there was only some remaining leftover funds of the $630k

Even the lawyer thing is confusing. They filed indigency claim to the court in the June 2025 saying they needed a public defender, despite already raising over $500k. But his attorney, Mike Howard, who had represented him in the trial, had already been retained in April 2025, and according to google AI, he had been paid with the GiveSendGo funds. So why did they file indigency claim to the court?

I didn't find him particularly antagonistic at all. If you watch till the end of the video, he also didn't know it was the family of Karmelo, he thought it was just some supporters. The lady informed him at the end.

It's kinda funny, his family and supporters are out there saying kill white people, Karmelo should have killed his twin brother too, but now we're getting assed up over some reporter who calmly went up to the family and asked if he could video and talk to them? And that's the outrage? C'mon.

I saw a social media thread where somebody tried to imply that because of Emmett Till, Karmelo should get a freebie lmfao; Absolute fucking clowns whenever a high profile case like this hits the news, especially when race is in anyway involved

I use cases like this as an exercise of gratitude srs.

Like imagine his life right now vs yours.

You could be homeless and be better off.

I’m not sure if gratitude is the right word though as you shouldn’t be grateful for your life as a result of simply not stabbing someone.

The verdict tells sweet innocent blacks that they aren't allowed to defend themselves against white abuse, or fight back. The black kid had enough, so he armed himself, went over to where the white kid was and dared him to do something about it.

"Get out of here" said the white boy to the black, kid, but he is not subordinate to whitey and doesn't need his permission to go anywhere. When the white boy put his hands on the black boy, that demanded a response.

I got sent to the drunk tank in wasaga beach Ontario.

The guy in the cell next to me wouldn’t stop yelling. He was annoying as fuck.

0/10 experience. Couldn’t imagine being confined to a cell for 35 years. It’s so over for Karmelo and well deserved.

Nah, it's almost impossible to end up in a situation like this if you are doing what you're supposed to be doing.

I carry a gun in my car. the argument for shooting someone in self-defense is nowadays you need extraordinary circumstances to use it (even showing it might get you time). that black above didn't do anything to provoke the interviewer for self-defense realistically. also I would bet that white shooter/black victim automatically is biased against the shooter over 10000s of cases. remember that guy who choked out the black on the NYC subway and got time? yeah...same thing would happen to you.

Best to simply avoid the black. I mean unless they are a vetted celebrity or something I would not even bother approaching a black. i mean I have to in the course of daily life, but I try to find another option first. Statistics matter...1 outta 3 black men are felons via official data and the raw data suggests its more likely 50% of black men. Everytime you approach a black man you are flipping a coin on a confrontation to more or lesser degrees.
