like I said above, just makes my point that the whole "we need guns to defend ourselves" is mostly fantasy cause most people can't shoot anyway. You don't need a machine gun to stop a robber, period.

No wonder. I can't expect foreigners to understand our culture. I shot my first gun when I was probably around 5-6. My kids will get their first .22 at 7 years old. This is our culture brah.

Could give a phuck less if there was a mass shooting monthly, 50 deaths out of 330 million does not justify stripping us of our rights.

People successfully defend themselves with firearms every day. Simply displaying the weapon is usually enough, rarely do shots need to even be fired.

But I absolutely agree that people who own guns should be competent, sure.

An AR-15 (for instance) and a Glock shoot at the same rate... the speed with which the trigger is pulled.

I'd love to see statistics on that, most dangerous situations don't even end with our armed brothers and sisters smoking some retard. The scumbags run at the site of a gun-toating american 90% of the time.

There are hundreds of cases of CHILDREN who don't even practice or rarely shoot smoking some phucker who entered their house. Put them up against a CCW holder who spends time on the range weekly? They will punch their ticket guaranteed.

I don't think people need machine guns for personal defense. Nobody knowledgeable would recommend one for that purpose.

It can, he stood above a doorway brah. With enough mags and steady enough hands to keep reloading, it is just as deadly.

He didn't have an AR-15 either, he had a SIG chambered in .300 BLK, liberal media is just retarded

Some can't, some can. That's not really the point though.

Here is the point. I rather have a firearm to defend myself than not have one. Will I hit my target? Maybe, maybe not. But.. with a firearm, at least I have that chance.

Second, you have to understand what a force multiplier it. My wife is 110 pounds soaking wet. If she punched me as hard as she could, I wouldn't even feel it. Now, give her a firearm, she is on equal footing, if not better footing than me to do me harm. To stop me. To stop a big, 220 lb guy with impressive lifts from hurting her. Will she miss? Maybe, but I would not take away that chance because she also may hit her target.

All things being equal with shooter skill, AR holds the advantage over handguns in recoil, accuracy, and rounds it can hold for follow up shots due to either missing or not stopping the threat with the first rounds on target.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.
Thank you, LORD, my God.

He was in the club for THREE HOURS. If you don't think a handgun can be used to kill 50 people in THREE HOURS you need to check yourself into the loony bin.

I have not once mentioned an AR-15, I dont know what that means. All I know is there are guns legally available that go beyond the basic function of self-defense

is there ANY assault rifle owner in here that has a nontroll "my assault rifle saved my life in X situation where a handgun couldn't have got the job done" story? i'm gonna get some heat for this but i don't give af. he didnt mow people down in one place, he ran around campus shooting people who didn't know what was going on which is a bit different. If he tried to ambush a club or something people would have escaped unless the gun was firing quick as fuk.

in any case, much less likely to happen with a slower gun
