Also, why not use AHA and BHA at night too?

Peppering my amazon cart, although I already own some of this. How will it affect freckles? I'm not really looking to get rid of them, mainly I just want to clear up some scarring.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his gods?

OP, gotta give you thanks.
I read your post, and dug through my cabinet to see if I had products that roughly match your process. No vitamin c serum, but had most of the rest in one form or another.
Started roughly doing your routine, and I'm seeing big results just five days in.
My problem has always been my upper neck, I break out like crazy there. My face is pretty clear but the skin quality is definitely improving there too.

You have to use chemical peels to seriously affect freckles

I got the paula dean sunscreen you recommended. Little question though, since it's a physical sunscreen, does that mean I don't have to reapply every 2 hours? How long is one coating good for? The label on the bottle only says to reapply after 2 hours if you got wet or sweated.

Can anyone aware me on the best way to removd blackheads from my nose.
Creams?
Strips?
Masks?
Ive tried the metal stick things that you push against them. But they dont seem to work.
I use biore strips often and they semi work. They usually pull up 20-30 blackheads. But i literally have thousands.

But yeah man, since it's a physical sunscreen it's not going anywhere, nor does it degrade over time like the chemical ones. So once you've applied it in the morning, you're good for the rest of the day (although if you blow your nose alot, like during allergy season, it wouldn't hurt to add a little more mid-day).
Just one more of the 80 million reasons physical sunscreen is better than chemical stuff.

Here's how to tell, incidentally: Is the issue pretty much just on your nose? Then it's prolly SF. On cheeks and other parts, then blackheads.
For blackheads, use (alcohol free) toner, then apply a vitamin c serum followed by AHA acid (8% or less).
For SF, the only cure is BHA acid. Start with a 2%. That usually fixes like 80 percent of peoples' problems right there. If still having an issue, get 4% and maybe 9% (at most).
Strips are apparently damaging to your skin and don't fix the issue, they're just a temporary solution. Biore strips are right up there with physical exfolients as bad ideas.

Still making progress. The rest of my face is nearly completely clear - even though my acne is not bad on my face, I still had a lot of "bumps" near my temples and large pores, this is all vanishing, and my neck acne continues to improve (that may take a while to clear though).
My only issue is that the retinoid I'm using is Atralin, which is prescription, and I'm running out. Due to the absurd results I'm seeing, I want to change as little as possible.

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

I'll have to look into switching over, currently using Jack Black sunscreen / moisturizer combo, pretty sure its chemical. Which is a shame b/c it's by far the best one I've used.
And while this system has gotten rid of the majority of my weak blackheads, a couple of the long standing residents are still around after a few weeks. Should I just keep at it, or physically remove them after loosening up the skin?

Moisturizer and sunscreen (I have the Paula's Choice) always make my face "sticky". What do I do to get rid of this? Anything? I want soft skin, not sticky/oily
