-being a jerk to my younger brother
-losing sense of direction after age 18

-going to medical school
-not ending LTR before girl cheated
-still letting obsessive-compulsive tendencies dictate how I live my life

Probably many others. I've learned a lot from all the mistakes, but still I think about these things a lot.
So how do you cope with your ocd? have you pursued professional help? what is the theme of your ocd?

Wasting so much time playing videogames as a teenager. I could have been using all that time to lift, make money, socialize, learn skills etc. I could have been doing something productive instead of completely wasting all that time

Playing 57012 hours of Heroes of Newerth. The amount of calories burned in stress and anger from doing that must have aged me a good 5 years lmao.

Being born. I'd be much happier if I didn't exist.

Spending too much time with GFs that weren't my type.

Not hunting with my dad when I was a kid. (love hunting now and my dad hasn't hunted in years)

Being more outgoing in high school. Didn't get laid or have GF until 20.

Being vegan for 4 years when I was a teen. Made my parents spend a ton of extra money and didn't eat the healthiest then either.

Not traveling more/living abroad. I did a fair amount of traveling-ireland 3 times, slovakia 3 times, and west coast twice, but wish I had started earlier and seen more. It's harder to plan trips when you're 30 (although you have more money for trips)

Turning down a 3 some offered to me by 2 decent looking chicks at a bar in manhattan when I was 22. I didn't have money, condoms or any clue how I would get home so i declined.

Getting a degree in something different. Not sure what it would be but I am not currently and don't see myself using my criminology degree in my career.

The last girl I dated before my wife. I was not attracted to her and she knew exactly how to press my buttons.

I wasted 2 years with her because it was convenient.

Feels. Did this with my most recent girlfriend who I just broke up with on Monday. It was only a 5-6 week relationship, but I invested a lot of time and energy in her, both physically and emotionally, during that short amount of time. I should have trust my instincts and ended it earlier when I got the impression that she hadn't gotten over getting cheated on her prior relationship. In reality, I was probably a "rebound" relationship for her.

Leaving my first job out of college too soon. Ended up getting laid off from the job I left the first one for and have been clawing back gradually since.
