Just know the gravity is so strong, nothing escapes it.
Not even light.

Now when the guy falls into a black hole in interstellar.
His entire space ship gets shredded due to the gravity.
But somehow his body is fine?
Explain please.

I like Nolan. But for some reason, he has these weird fanboys who think he's the second coming of Christ and if someone doesn't like even one of his movies, it's because they're stupid and didn't understand the the unquestionable genius of Nolan. Let me just quote you for a sec...

You should be embarrassed to have typed out any of these, and they all came from one post. I understand Interstellar perfectly well, I just didn't like it. It wasn't even a movie that I posted, you're just being such a dunce you need to be called out.

So you don't actually know anything but you'd like to assert that what happened in the movie is impossible based on the fact that you don't know anything about black holes...

Why would i answer a question that you've clearly stated has no basis on knowledge? You stated you know nothing about black holes... and yet you can't seem to grasp the possibility of him surviving. The irony.

I'm a major and knowledgeable film fan.

Now you expect me to type an essay on here just to get an answer?

Interstellar scene where his entire spaceship gets torn to shreds but a human surviving a black hole with no spacesuit, nothing.

7th Star Wars film was the most recent. I'm not a Star Wars fan as it is, but FA was just a remix of the original three movies dumbed down somehow even further by JJ Abrams.
Spoiler!

- Rey: the only good thing about her is we now have a shorter, modern way of saying "Mary Sue."[ul]
  • Mostly derp-staring at everything

  • Apparently a better mechanic, pilot, fighter, and jedi than everyone else in the film somehow

  • Absolutely zero setup for her as a character explaining any of her skills

  • Not even a training montage to explain how she suddenly could mind trick Bond-trooper. Even Luke had that whole deal with Yoda in the swamp

  • No explanation as to who in the hell she is because JJ Abrams keeps confusing mystery with not bothering to write anything in the first place.

  • [ul]
-Finn: Strong potential as a Stormtrooper turned good guy... all as a build up to him being the Stormtrooper equivalent of a garbage man when all the chips are down.

-Pilot guy: the one from Ex Machina, Oscar Isaac. Yeah, he was originally supposed to die, but they liked him enough to randomly insert him in later with no f*cks given to explain how he survived both an entire ship exploding and then getting sucked into the sand for no discernible reason.

-Kylo Ren: Actually started out promising, then becomesanotherStar Wars character with daddy issues and probably shops at the Star Wars equivalent of Hot Topic on his off days. When he takes off the mask and doesn't even need the thing... I mean seriously? No one can understand you with that stupid inhaler, and you're just wearing it because you have a creepy fascination with Vader?
Also, he looks like the bad guy in Grandma's Boy:

-Harrison Ford: Probably the best part of Star Wars, and JJscrewed it up. Han went from the bit of connection to the audience who was skeptical about the whole "Force" thing, even after seeing it himself, and not being a saccharine dolt. So of course JJ has to have this one character also turn around and say "It's true! All of it...", then rubs salt in it all by having him say "mumbo jumbo." Good god the writing in this film was horrendous and enough to pretty much ruin the one thing that even someone like me as a non-fan could appreciate a little. Even after killing him off, Disney still has to try and f*ck it up even more by launching endless origin stories with some kid who is not Harrison Ford because time travel isn't a thing that exists or they would kidnap a youngrealHarrison Ford from another timeline like a sideplot from Rick and Morty.

    -Gingersnap General:

The other Ex Machina actor. Seriously, just have Oscar Isaac kick this guy's ass and call it an evening.

    -Discount Yoda:
Even the old, short alien thing was unoriginal. How hard is it to think of new things when that is literally all that is expected of you as a "creator" of things?

    -3rd. F*cking. Death Star.
Oh, it's a planet this time? Same "one spot" weakness? Whoever thought this up should have been thrown off the highest tower at the Disney castle and have their obituary note that they died of autoerotic asphyxiation next to a pile of dead puppies and photos of Hitler dressed as a woman. And blowing upseveralplanets is not much of an upgrade from the old designs if (A) you can still destroyit- an entire planet - so damn easily and (B) they're planets we have zero reason to give a damn about because sh*t writing.

-Overall hypocrisy: As if they couldn't spell out the Apple by Adolf space-Nazi image of the New Order any clearer, isn't it all a bit contradictory to ignore the fact that all the "force" business is passed along in only the select, supreme bloodlines?

So yeah, it's the one film that actively kind of pisses me off because it wassosuccessful that we can expect this franchise to be beaten into the fabric of society for generations to come, and it wasn't even written half-decently or even original, which is theleastthey could have striven for. Yet we can expect to see them fly this sh*theap into the sun happily expecting people to praise anything with a lite brite vibrator in it for the next millennia.
I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine
My dark grave awaits, my fate is revealed - But I'm not afraid to die

But it's not just a black hole is it? It's a black hole controlled and arguably created by 4th dimensional beings, so if we are going to accept that a race became capable of creating worm holes/black holes, it isn't too much of a stretch to say they could allow something to safely pass within.

Doesn't matter if we don't know.
    Based on the movie's logics.
The spaceship got completely shredded into pieces.
    Yet the human was fine.
By the movies logics, the human should've been torn into pieces as well.

If the spaceship crossed the event horizon of a black hole and survived, then ok i'll accept it since we don't know what would happen.
But if in the movie, the spaceship gets destroyed, yet a bare human survives?
    That's just crap writing.
And i'm not even stating the lack of oxygen or any of that.
Just the fact that plot armor prevented the human from being torn into pieces is a plothole on itself.

    Stay mad though.

Shouldnt the spaceship be fine then since the human was fine?
Pretty sure humans are a lot more fragile.

If I am not mistaken, there is something about the genetics involved with the force, Luke had become the most powerful Jedi in all of history and a lot of it dealt something with his genetics, and this was passed down to Rey. (Someone who knows the cannon story could prob explain it, but TLDR she is genetically superior to everyone in existence and the force allows her to excel at most things with ease)

I read this explanation last time this argument came up.

Not sure if im talking on the same subject but, those new people being stronger at the force than kylo ren was complete chit.
I dunno how powerful kylo ren was but he stopped a blaster mid air with the force alone.
Practiced the force for a long time (most likely)
Yet loses to people who 10 minutes ago, didn't even know what the force was or if it even existed.

Point is: You cant defend yourself.
Interstellar scene where his entire spaceship gets torn to shreds but a human surviving a black hole with no spacesuit, nothing.
Is the biggest plothole there is.
And here you are, coming up with excuses why you wont explain.
Its because you don't know chit but you're too butt hurt because your precious nolan made a mistake.
    Keep being a cuck though

ITT: faxanadu thinks a human with no protection can survive entering a black hole.
    Smfh.
You don't know anything about black holes, therefore, you have no basis for saying whether a human can survive entering a black hole. Do you even logic?
