The US/China/UK/etc spend millions of dollars on their athletes to win medals.
Countries like India hardly spend anything. Their athletes get no funding/support.

Their only "excuse" is not caring enough to spend money on it.

They can easily afford to, but what's the point when the general population couldn't give less of a fuk..
