No, he had chronic Lyme disease & ended up highly disabled unable to leave his house. He made videos about his disease but most of his hair had fallen out & people would troll & be disrespectful if I posted them up.

Did he hang out in woodland/forests a lot? That disease has had a lot of publicity here the last year or two with dogs & humans getting infected. From what I gather it is only a minority of them that carry the diseases that cause the bad problems.

Not sure, he said he went to Bali years ago & came back with a rash & slowly started to get worse & worse symptoms since that day... until one day it pretty much got him to the point where he couldn't work or anything.. feel so bad for him.

I was friends with the guy, nice fella, unconditional kind of friend. I and a few of his other friends always reassured him that he could talk to us if he ever needed to... Unfortunately when you have depression it changes your whole thought process. Been there many a time before.

It's sad, but he kind of shut off from me and most others in the final year of his life... I always use to ask if he was alright, you know, showing that I care and am there for him, but I later found out, after he took his own life that he actually got post-Finasteride syndrome from the natural remedy version of finasteride. He got real concerned that he would go fully bald as his hair was receding back when he was 17... Took the medication that was supposedly meant to fix it and it caused more problems than it solved.

Look up post finasteride syndrome, it is pretty messed up.

May he rest in peace, still find it hard to believe he is gone. <3

This is so sad. Rest in peace, brother.

The title of his journey - Michael Douglas' Journey to Mt. Olympus - makes me very sad for him. Hopefully he finds peace wherever he may be.

I volunteer for a suicide hotline and my only advice to anyone in a situation like Michael's is that there ARE people willing to help you through dark times. It's ok to seek help when you need it.

RIP miscbrah. Sad to hear **** like this. The sad truth is that back pain can be so insane it makes death more desirable than life. I've dealt with back pain off and on for a few years, unfortunately it's part of being tall. If I do too much weight on deadlifts it throws my lower back out. In 2012 I hurt myself so bad I literally could not get out of bed and walk for a week. It was horrible.

Poor guy. I wasn't even aware that post-finasteride syndrome exist, luckily I never took that pill.

lived with chronic pain for 2 years from a herniated disc with sciatic pain. Definitely took a toll on my mood. Pain pills don't help with the depression either.

Rip Brah.So sad to lose another misc brah. He seemed like a good dude and things went spiraling out of control when he couldn't do one of the things he loves most. I don't know where I'd be if I couldn't workout. Depression is literally the worst thing on this planet.
