So you're inheriting your parents house but only get half as your little brother gets half as well so you'll continue living upstairs whilst he lives downstairs or are you selling the house and splitting the cash or are you buying his half out? This is assuming you only have one sibling of course.

How much are you factoring in for the servicing, tyres, general maintenance and MOT repairs for that mighty BMW of yours?
How much of your wage is going away into private pension?
How much are you going to estimate for annual repairs on the student housing you are renting out as students do like to party and get yucky as well as the landlord maintenance fees, yearly servicing costs, agent fees and renovation work that requires specialist modifications to comply with student housing criteria?

"So, what's your plans for the future son? Thought about how you're going to support yourself financially?"
"Sure dad. I'm gonna hang around here and wait for you and mum to die and then I'm going toe rich!"

mirin e92 (i also have one), but 320d...:/ straight six all day, dunno why people buy BMW's then try to buy 4 pot diesels to be economical

IDK why people are acting like 13750 is a lot though, that's a decent price for a low mile well equipped e92.

It's not a fkin Honda Civic bro, it was 42k brand new, so picking up 5yrs old with below average mileage for 14k is now a bad deal? Just lol @ your logic.

Ferrari's 15 years old are like 70k, would you suddenly say "wow you spent 70k on a 15yr old car?", in short, no you wouldn't because you need to analyze the package you're getting for the money you're spending, in this case you clearly didnt, you had primitive tunnel vision towards the product that is "car".

It's an abandoned warehouse, hence why I took the photo as it's an interesting backdrop, the photo wouldn't look as good if it had fkin starbucks in the background brah.

That is just so low class ghetto style.............

Oh, and I do find the e92 the worst looking 3 series generation to be honest.


To people commenting on why a 4 pot diesel...cheap fuel, lasts a life time, plus 150-200bhp are quite enough for daily driving and having fun in curvy roads (it's a BMW....it's all about carrying the speed, not acceleration)

I didn't say it's about speed, but the general drive of a creamy smooth straight six petrol is just superior in every way except fuel economy, but i never understood why buy a premium car that costs more than entry level cars to service and maintain, then focus on fuel economy? I understand you dont want a car doing 10mpg, but my 330i still gets 40mpg on a run. The six cylinders will also last a lifetime.

It's just my opinion brah.

40mpg on petrol vs 45-50mpg on diesel makes a big differences when you consider fuel prices (continental europe).

But on UK I agree....

FFS, if you have a garage and some tools, the UK is drivers heaven. Cheap cars everywhere

Yeah i get that, but diesel costs a little more than petrol here, and petrols are a little cheaper to buy. It would take me something like 5 years of driving to offset the cost of buying a 330d over a 330i (although a 330i is probably similar in cost/more to buy than a 320d), and i'd much rather be driving a petrol. But i just think, if you're that concerned with economy and saving money then why not just buy a ford diesel. 320d's may be cheaper on fuel but they still have BMW tyre/servicing/repair costs, and they also seem to be plagued with more problems than the straight sixes.

Anyway, this isn't what the topic is about but good discussion :P It's just turned into a 'look at what i drive' thread, although i suspect that was the original intention of the thread but it backfired badly.

OP you are not getting laid at the moment. If you had friends and were going out regularly having fun times and lots of sex with women, then you'd have much less money to save, but wouldn't care as you'd be having a good time. At the moment you're having a crap time, but are putting some money away. However you're in your twenties, which is your prime drinking/shagging/messing about time. Don't waste it. You have the rest of your life to save up and live sensibly.
