Not a huge fan either, but their music and energy is made for big festivals like this. When I was at EDC Las Vegas years ago, they absolutely killed it. So much energy.

The good ole' days bro. I don't spend $100+ on festival tickets anymore unless it is an exotic location overseas.

Has there actually been any good EDM music that has dropped in the last few years? Seems like all these DJs recycle the same sh*t every year.

Overall Garrix's set was pretty solid

I spent $400ish on TomorrowWorld tickets twice and had fun but fuk. So much money now lol. Pretty much any festival is around that much though and even tickets to single day events are around $100.

I miss just going to clubs for $10-20 and having Tiesto/Aoki/etc playing. Now the only place that seems to happen is Vegas or else it's a "concert" and costs $100.

The local promotion company here actually was the one that paid for Tiesto, Armin, and Ferry Corsten's work visas when they first got going. Saw them on the regular so many times, those were the days, late 90s, and early 00s. Still puts me sideways when I see Tiesto collaborating with rappers and hip hop artists.

Does anyone like these hype guys? Even when I'm at these things in person I hate them. Your mic time should be limited to 2 lines per set.

Oh man, jelly. That's awesome. The move over of artists in the 00's was pretty epic, would have been sweet to been around for that.

This would have been a better set during the day to get people "hyped" for Day 1. Garrix would have been an excellent choice for the final act of the night instead of this.

Agreed. Looks like a giant sausage fest atm because all the hot sloots are still recovering from being gangbanged by Chads the night before.

Haha trumpet is ridic. Looks like 30 second mashups of 90's jams is still a popular way to work the crowd.

No more hate from me tho, only good vibes!
