Agreed I definitely should have handled it better.

Meanwhile this entire situation has been dealt with in real life - this thread is now purely about rustling some jimmies.

This is not just from a perspective of right or wrong. I don't get involved in people's personal chit. What would possess you to cause problems for your 'friend'?

Answer that question.

If you really wanted to be the good guy to the girl you could've easily done so.

When she asked if he was seeing another girl you could've said you didn't know. Then asked her even if he was, did she have a right ask? You could have made it a lesson to her that if she doesn't want a guy seeing other girls she needs to demand exclusivity so she can directly ask the guy these questions and not his friends.

I didn't read you say he promised to be exclusive to her, but if he did you should have told her to ask him and it's not your business. You shouldn't mess with other peoples relationships period. Stay out of their drama.

This situation has been going on for months, so don't try to play the morality card and call your "best friend" a scumbag. Yeah, he's a loser if he's actually cheating on these girls, but you've known for months and didn't do jack chit until there was a vulnerable female in front of you.
