Fly out a day early. Fawk this place LOL I'd do terrible things to be on a plane to L.A. right now.

I can't wait to move. The humidity alone is enough to ruin it here. Now more of this. I hate it.

It's most definitely worth evacuating for a major storm especially if you're close to the coast where it's prone to flooding. We made dumb choice not to evacuate for hurricane Charley when I lived in Charleston in 2004 and will never make that mistake again. Legit thought we were going to die. Then there's no going anywhere at that point even if you wanted to due to road floodage.

It's better to evacuate and have a hurricane miss or not be as bad as expected then to stay and potentially be stranded or killed. Now I live in upstate SC where it's a bit safer but I still have fam and friends on coast in Charleston so still worries me.

Plz stay safe everybody specially bros in FL that are def gonna get hit.

I was looking to move to fl, and even the seemingly nicer places that arent insane cost to live in seemed to have decent crime all around. which was a bit off putting

The only way to stop it is to cool the water. Good luck cooling down an ocean. Oh and even when you cool the \ocean the consequences will be worst than a hurricane. The best thing to do is prepare and let it happen.

I follow NHC Atlantic and Ryan Maue on Twitter. Good coverage.

The whole.south in general is terrible. Sorry. Only way you like it is if you were born here.

Only gonna intensify as it gets closer. Warmer water. Warm water helps it

Would rather have a hurricane than the potential 9.0 quake commifornia is going to get hit with in future.

Bought 2 cases of water yesterday before the hype started to build. Now you can't find it ANYWHERE. Unless you are there when it comes off the truck. Even bread is a hot commodity.

Which makes no goddamn sense because it'll be expired by the time the hurricane even hits. Why do people get the two things (milk, bread) that spoil the quickest in an emergency???

Why is that? Srs. Every time I see some crazy news story I assume it's FL and oh look, it is! I'm assuming it's due to more homeless folks/mentally ill (one in the same, sadly) who move out that way.

Then again the South is wild.

Good luck Florida bros, stock up on frozen pizzas, PB&J - coffee and creamer. The pizza & coffee you're probably not thinking about now but remember that Dominos and Starbucks will be closed for days.
