Gotta say bodybuilding has become a sideshow these days. Nothing compares to Arnold's era of bodybuilding. Incredible physiques, tight waist lines. The competitors looked like Greek gods.

Now we have ninja turtle belly competitors.

None of them are anywhere near as good as arnold. or serge nubret. or frank zane.

apparently arnolds biceps and chest are around the same size as the pros today... if thats true kind of sums up whats wrong. completely disproportionate freak show bodies. as there other bodyparts have exploded in size especially their guts. The pros got bigger than arnold but not everywhere and took so many different chemicals it turned them into circus freaks.

I think whats gone wrong with bodybuilding was the likes of arnold and big lou reached the limit in size balanced with asthetics that was acceptable to mainstream society before it starts to look unappealing, those who run bodybuilding knew that, and decided to make it about being 'freaks' they sent it in another new direction,but they have now got so freakish everyone is against it, not just mainstream society but anyone involved with bodybuilding, arnold has come out and said something publically, the only people who think it's a good thing are those who run bodybuilding and the supplement companies.

If anyone remembers, that's what Ronnie Coleman looked like toward the end of his reign. Though I'd argue that Phil Heath has never matched Coleman's size and definition.
Anyway, my point is that if Heath doesn't fix it, this is probably his last Mr. Olympia title.

That’s not true AT ALL lol. The big name guys on insta and YouTube come up short more often than not, a lot of the winners over the years were not popular.

Professional bodybuilding is a joke now anyways, no reason to care or follow.
