Disney and marvel soley relies on their fanbase for their MCU success. Having a huge trend is a huge part for their market. Look how quickly DCEU is flopping with JL and BVS

avatar was 2 hours 45 minutes and did pretty well for a single movie. IW will probably be just as long.... hopefully they'll have an intermission. my bladder wont be able to hold it that long

JL deserves the hype that IW is getting. Unfortunately its not. Everything was so disjointed and generic.

yup-they half assed it and basically said fukc it, lets just finish the movie and hope to make some money

disney/marvel spent a lot time on character development so movie goers/fans are more vested. DC gave a brief intro into the meta humans but left it there; instead of putting in some time and effort to develop the characters, they rushed it.
