A black Bond like Idris Elba would be fine. Bond is about charming the pants off like 8 women a week and boning them in speedboats or whatever while saving the planet. Bond is very masculine. You can imagine Idris doing these things. That’s why it can’t be a female.

Fassbender is a cope choice, it’s more of a “I guess he’ll do” because he qualifies for the necessary requirements. Doesn’t share the same flare as Idris. I’d rather have fassbender as a villain if anything

i respectfully disagree. i thought his acting in the alien movie and the video game movie were the lone bright spots in both otherwise terrible movies.

James Bond she be protrayed as he was imagined. So I don’t think it is appropriate for a minority or female to fill that role. It just wouldn’t make sense. I also don’t see how making him an average height blonde guy was a viable option either. As that doesn’t fit what James Bond is supposed to look like either.

I'd be down for Idris Elba to play bond as long as he has the right accent (it actually could work with the whole adoption back story), but never in a million years would I approve of a sloot Bond.

Idris was horrid in The Dark Tower.

He can't really pull off playing a white guy.

That character was based on Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns. Elba was an awful gunslinger.
