Do you even know what banjo rolls are?! God damn
I heard what you posted and i really wasn't blown away by it. Either way his hybrid picking does not put him above Lane or Govan. Not even remotely.

Bye bye wankers
You are the equivelant of some kid stepping in the gym for the first time and criticizing kai greens form then telling him zyzz is a better bodybuilder than arnold.

That is exactly what youre doing. I honestly cant tell if youre trolling or mentally challenged. Something is just not right with you man. Please fukk off.

Steve Marker (From the band Garbage)
Jimi Hendrix
Billy Corgan

How could I forget old slow hand.

My revised list:
- Hendrix
- Gilmour
- Clapton

While I don't think he was necessarily the best guitarist as far as technical skill I think Brian May deserves to be mentioned.

I always find it funny that people put guys who can play a million notes a second but aren't very melodic into their list. I'd rather listen to EVH who is a master lead AND rhythm player who happens to write unique and interesting riffs and melodies over someone like Buckethead.

You obviously haven't listened to buckethead. Go listen to the albums Colma, Shadows between the sky, A real diamond in the rough, Peppers ghost, or some of his work with bands like praxis. Hes a phenomenal songwriter it just gets overshadowed by the fact that he has over 300 albums and puts out every riff hes ever come up with in one way or another.

I think it's cuz speed and technique are like things that can be measured objectively. style is subjective as fukk which is why these debates exist
