Feel bad for her. She decided to freeze em in her late 30s, at that point fertility in women can be rough just by then. It's true they have a shorter shelf life than men but it's due to the obvious reasons, they have to fukkin carry and grow a fukkin human inside of em. Whereas dudes can just go knock up as many chicks he can bang with no issue (unless he is shootin blanks).
Once you hit over 35, pregnancy risk increases. That's why wife and I are knockin em out before then. Who knows what happened in her late 20s/early 30s. If family is your goal you got limited time. I'd say same goes for a man, no way would I want to be 50 havin my first kid, fukkin grandpa when he graduates HS n chit.

"Her plan was to work a few more years, find a great guy to marry and still have a house full of her own children"
So her plan was to wait until her 40s to just begin looking for a guy she would marry and have kids with? Seems like a little late to plan on doing all that at once
Shocking that didn't go as planned.....
I almost feel bad because that is probably a devastating thing to go through but the fact she paraded around like shes some genius who's beating the system I don't really at all. Im not so sure this is what she had in mind when she figured she could "have it all"

I mean if she wanted to go this route she should've
1) frozen more, because obviously this was going to be a difficult thing impregnating an aged uterus.
2) frozen her eggs when they were younger. Obviously at 42 you're approaching the bottom of the barrel eggs.
She also could have looked into a surrogate as well, but she was probably too proud to not carry the child herself, and would rather risk a miscarriage in a womb that was literally ready for menopause when she froze the eggs in the first place.
