You can make good money quickly if youre willing to do back breaking work that other people don't want to do.

I make 6 figures @ 26 without having a highschool education but I have to leave civilization for weeks at a time and grind for 20+ hours a day. Wouldn't have it any other way though absolutely love my job.

That being said I was making 35/hr + pension + benefits at 23 as a union pipefitter and if I stayed with that job I'd be at 6 figures now working a fraction of as hard as I do now but not loving what I do.

I was making just over 50k at 18 moving pianos.

How do you prefer working labour offshore versus as a pipefitter brah?

Pipefitter in O&G is a fukn sweet gig. Rotational work, still tons of hours, paid for 10+hrs/day but only actually work 4

I'm a fisherman/trapper there is nothing like it pretty much the last frontier.

Pipefitting was a good job but not fulfilling at all and I feel like I have way more earning potential in the fishing industry.

Okay if you pursued something like that it makes sense, I figured you were just doing some type of labourer job

lol at being happy with 45k.

the average american is a retard. are you happy having the same salary as a retard? anyone who is willing to put the work in can easily go to school to study for a job that pays well and is in demand.

if you only make 45k then you obviously didnt try hard enough or you chose the wrong career.

just telling it like it is. no sugar coating to make *******s feel better about themselves.

Way too much anger over facts...

These threads are great because the longer that are active, the more hate comes out. Yeah, when you live in a chitty big city where a 400 sq ft apartment is being shared by 11 people and you still have to make $125k to survive...no one wants to live that way.

STEM *** here making 85k right out of college. Probably won't be happy until I make at least 10k per week, which will most likely require a few side businesses.

On a side note, I am getting ****ed by taxes at the moment even after maxing out my 401k and IRA.
