How many calories do you eat in a day now?

Also I feel like even though I was never huge to begin with, I've made facial gains since losing 14LBs.. I don't feel comfortable posting selfies on misc though because of detectives.
Really curious how this 5x a week lifting will affect results vs 3x a weeks

I did this for an entire month. It's impossible to do if you're at home - Fortunately I have an office I can go to during the weekend.
I didn't really drop any weight but it was a good exercise in appetite suppression. It's not like it's new to me though, there has been plenty of times where I was hiking for hours on end and not eating any food because I would rather keep walking.
But oh boy, did I get a headache when I finallydideat and then have to start walking again.

I'd probably die. I do the more relaxed version, a large early dinner, then nothing until bed. Moderate breakfast and a small lunch. I've reduce bad snack food by a lot too and drink lots of water.

It is soon to be Ramadan for Muslims here in UK. They have to fast both food and water for the whole day. I was actually thinking about just doing a food fast. I don't want to commit to not drinking at all during the day....doesn't even sound safe TBH.

1 meal a day is how real men live.
Lmao @ people who think thousands of years ago we had the luxury of eating 8 evenly spaced nutritious meals per day.
Your body is a survival tool, you don't have to treat it like a soy factory.

I have a high appetite so even if I eat one meal a day, it can still be 2000kcal+ in one sitting. I've only ever lost weight when I'm ill/have chronic anxiety and can't eat properly for over a month (I once lost 5 kilos in two months this way, not good :/)
As for the headaches, well have you tried walking 20km+ on an empty stomach and then walking after? This isn't just having a work day, then chilling in my room after. Those circumstances result in no headaches.

Did it somewhat regularly for a couple of months. Some days I might have two but never breakfast. Didn't even count calories, I was on my exchange semester and still managed to lean down a good amount.

I've kinda done this off and on throughout my life without even meaning to. I'd be so busy working on stuff all day that I'd forget to eat, until the giant dinner I'd make.

That being said, chips and salsa are the GOAT so almost worth it.

I have also noticed that on the days i have eaten processed foods i became noticeably more hungry than usual during the next day of fasting, i don't usually feel hungry at all during the fast when i eat non processed fresh food, I say this as somebody who isn't even somebody who promotes eating fresh non processed food all the time, i love processed food too and have issues with it, but like i say i noticed the exact same thing when i eat it, always feel hungry the next day.
Whats really interesting tho is that i have noticed some days while cutting i will have a day at maintenance and and eat an extra 500kal above my cutting intake, the days i eat non processed foods in a 500kcal deficit i don't get any cravings during the 23 hour fast, however if i so much as add 500 EXTRA Calories from processed fast digesting carbs to my normal 500kcal deficit day of eating on processed food bringing up intake up to maintenance i will STILL get hungry again during the fast!
Now this is fascinating to me, its like my body starts to crave the fast digesting carbs no matter what my calorie intake. Eating that extra 500kcal of fast digesting carbs makes me more hungry than if i ate 500kcal less and only ate non processed foods. This is something i have noticed consistently every time.

Hell yeah, best form of calorie restriction from my point of view. On average I burn about 2850 calories a day...some days 2400-2600 (barely active) and on training day + 30-45 cardio I burn 3300-3500. Getting a FitBit Charge HR was the best fitness investment I've ever gotten. Takes all the guess work out of how many calories to eat really. It's obviously not 100% accurate, but I'd say it's close to 90-95% since it constantly monitors your heart rate..when I follow the calorie recommendations calculated by it I lose weight like clockwork. The 5-10% of it being off target has been beneficial for me since I'll usually lose more weight than I "should" have according to the numbers.
I had it set at 1,000 cal deficit for awhile but recently set it to 500 cal deficit. I got it on December 30th. I only really weigh myself every 2 weeks because psychologically if I see a good low weigh-in I'll typically use that as an excuse to binge eat or at the least eat way more conservatively for a day or two which inhibits the fat loss.
Either way, I was 190.5 on December 30th, and the last time I weighed myself was February 1st and was 180.8.
Theoretically I should be in the high 170's now. I weighed 183.8 with a jacket, hoodie, t shirt and jogging pants this morning. so the high 170's is a good guess.
Yesterday all I ate was a McDonald's McChicken, Mcdouble, then 100 calories of CBD gummies and 500 calorie philly cheese steak panini. So like 1400 calories total and I burned 3,347 calories. Knocked out about 4 days of dieting in one day lmao, so today I'll eat a lettuce wrapped All The Way bacon cheeseburger and a regular (which is a huge portion size) size cajun fries from Five Guys for a lunch day with my mom. About 1800 calories for that meal, then I'll have 500-700 later on tonight and call it good.
Inb4 who was vitamins/minerals, sodium and protein.. I supplement potassium with Nu-Salt and a multi vitamin, BCAA for fasted training and most days get 130+ grams of protein which is plenty. The odd day of getting 75g isn't a big deal to me.
