I really liked the part where Johnny goes and asks for forgiveness and they try to make it seem like it's for his son Robby when really it was to Miguels mom.

Wasn't going to bother with this, figured it'd be some cash grab POS joke. But read good things so downloaded and binged and holy chit, they nailed it. They made Johnny sympathetic and actually most of the characters are surprisingly well developed. Kid who played Miguel was very natural and convincing. Johnny crapping on PC culture gave me a chubby. Also Larussa's wife and daughter are hotties (and Hawk's sloot as well). LOL at Hawk. The Cobra Kai kids going from weak bitches to badass was a stretch but the show somehow actually makes you give a ****.

Its okay for nostalgia and I like johnnys character. But lets be real. The fight choreography sucks. The pretty boy johnnys son must be awful at life because every scene where he is doing anything athletic is obvious stunt guy in a wig. Daniel looks old goofy and ugly. The leading love interest chick has no tits and looks 13. It's good but could be better.

The fight choreography is the way it is so it looks like the old karate kid. Can't have everybody doing 360 backflips like Jaden smith.

Every fight that ever existed in movies has been choreographed like this. That high school lunch room right was hnnnng, don’t care what you say.

Kind of surprised Johnny was harder on his son in the beginning. Little ******* calling me a loser on the phone and in front of his friends, he’s definitely gettting his ass beat. Daughter is supposed to be playing a 16/17 year old so I think they did a pretty good job when her irl age is 22. She pretty hnnng too.

Nah I'm not talking acrobatics. Just seeing people falling before punches land, obvious intentional misses because bad camera angles. Really bad wigs and stunt people who look nothing like their actors. It just looks cheesy and low budget.

I guess I'm spoiled by Netflix because their shows like this are extremely well done. Stuff like Punisher and Daredevil are really high budget and look like Cinema releases. Google/youtube need to up their game. It's not like they don't have deep pockets.

The fights on Daredevil might have been choreographed better, but they also weren't realistic. Homeboy would get bashed in the head with a pipe, sliced up by ninjas and beaten half to death by a gang of 97 mobsters all in one night - and not only live, but go back out and do it all again the next night.

I didn't watch much Iron Fist. I couldn't get passed the homo hobo looking millennial they cast as the lead.

It's not as good as those shows but it's definitely worth watching and even the fact people are mentioning it in the same breath as some of the greats says a lot. I will say low expectations help a lot, with this show and in general. If you're expecting better than GoT or The Wire, you may be disappointed.

Dude above commenting on fight coreography .. yeah it's not amazing. And the production value isn't stellar or anything like that. But I didn't really mind. It actually kinda helps with the realism factor. Those slick Netflix shows where everything is flawless all feel the same and maybe it's me but I never give a chit about any of the characters.

They definitely need to up the budget on the next seasons though.

Just binge watched all 10 episodes. Holy sh!tttt they actually did it right! I haven’t been so addicted to a show since Breaking Bad.

I’m really hoping this Robby kid gets with LaRusso’s daughter and comes back to win the whole thing. Can’t wait for season 2!

caved and watched all of it. really well done and subverted the original in all the right ways- amazing how disney completely ****ed up star wars but these guys knocked it out of the park

awesome show if you grew up with the movie. Johnny is alpha, larusso pretty cool too. Well acted by those two. Last episode was great. Would watch again.
