This is what I find interesting...
You speak to young parents (with kids <10 years old for example) and they extoll the virtues of parenthood, having a child etc etc.
Yet EVERY TIME I speak (in real life) to people in their 50s/60s/70s who have children who have since grown up, moved out of home, moved interstate/overseas, they still say how rewarding it all was, yet they also say how much hard work it is, and they often talk about things they would have done if not tied down by kids.
Obviously this is not always the case, but as children grow up and become young adults and become their own person, things aren't as simple as a young child idolising their parents.
But I honestly feel that whether you have kids or you don't, they both equally have their positives and negatives.

Do you have to pay alimony OP?
Good on you for not having kids brah, you'd be stuck with child support too since you and your wife divorced (plus your kids would grow up to be manlets lol).

lol i thought about this again at work because of the many "having kids" threads on the misc lately.
And i started thinking. What is the REAL purpose to having kids? I get it if you want to have ONE. Because it will be very hard as a guy to meet a girl who doesn't want kids. So you might be forced to at least have one.
But 2 or 3, or even 4? Kill me now.
Because if you think about it. You're having kids, JUST SO YOU CAN WORK MORE FOR THEIR PURPOSE IN LIFE.
Meaning you have to bust your ass to make more money to raise them. Then you have to bust your ass more to put them in school. Then you have to bust your ass once again to put them in a good college so they can get a good job so they don't go broke. Sound right?
Well they won't go broke like their parents if the parents didn't have all those phucking kids. Plus whose not to say that as a parent you do all this for them, bust your ass for 2 decades to raise them, put a roof over their head, put them in a good college, then they end up being a psycho and commit crimes and go to jail?
Now all that work you did was for nothing.
Why the hell should i work even harder to support another human being that i have FULL CONTROL over not bringing him/her onto this earth at all?
That's why i LOL @ all the people who are LOL @ us guys who don't have kids.
You're brainwashed in thinking kids are a part of life. No they are a part of yours because your dumbass didn't wrap up and busted solid white ropes inside your GF because it was a boring rainy day. So now she had an unplanned pregnancy. Then you want to justify your bad decision making and call out guys who actually have made their decision in not having kids.
LOL @ all the parents here

It seems like it's only parents that are insecure and want to justify why they have kids by making threads saying, "lol @ not having kids". Or the married life is the way to go etc. I mean read the recent threads the past 2 weeks. Almost everyday is something about having kids.
There are people out there who really don't want kids. THere is no use for them.
I have ZERO use for kids. That's why i'm not having any. Oh and the fact i hate them. Annoying little chits.

Could you imagine actually having a kid, devoting 18 years of blood, sweat, tears and countless sacrifices. And then when you think they are finally old enough, and strong enough to leave home, you find out the cuck doesn't even want to move out... Needs more to time to "get their chit together" and doesn't want to be out on their own???

Dunno what all this talk of "busting ass" is all about.
Like, do you picture desperate fathers toiling at the coal-pit with their bare, heavily calloused hands under the whip or what?
Put it this way - if I was single I'd still be required to do my day job, which consists mostly of sitting in front of misc all day drinking coffee.
Hardly "busting ass" now is it?
The only difference not having kids would make to me is that I'd be driving a big fuk-off merc on my 8 mile daily commute, wondering where it all went wrong.
Whoop de fukking do.
But if that's what you're all about in this life - then please - don't let anyone talk you into relaying your miserable, inferior genes to humanity.
