Had a real scare tonight

Driving my daughters home from school
My oldest, 12, had her first voice lessons with a coach

She says she is using too much throat and not enough head, then says, sorry, that sounded kinda bad

I kinda freeze, wtf is she talking about, wtf does she know at this age ?

So I ask her, in what context did that sound bad?

She then goes on and on about choir terminology, etc, etc

Thank god it wasn’t what I thought it was

lol!

She knows what she was apologizing for. I knew at that age. They know about sht even younger nowadays. It's disturbing. But she'll know better than to make that kinda joke again. Especially if you gave her the daddy crazy eyes...

That being said. Working on her head voice will really broaden and strengthen her range so she can top higher and bottom out lower.

Just has to remember to open her throat and lift her soft palate...

I miss choir. I love singing.

Also. I am filling dying with the herb analogies.

I miss parsley. I had some nicely smoked high grade parsley whilst visiting my aunt in Ohio may or june and it truly calmed us down. To where we could almost handle it.

I miss torching parlsey tar. That feeling lasts for ages. And I feel like that deflated girl on the couch in the DARE commercial. It's wonderful.

My 11 yr old thankfully knows nothing about it. But last weekend I DID have to the "talk" with her since she started middle school with all the Aholes. We have a good open dialogue and she trusts me...for now.

Will you give me voice lessons? I need to learn how to carry a tune so I can sing as well as play bass in my future cover band.

I would much rather be open with her than restrictive and close her off

She always tells me about the boys interested in her, which I like, and also hate at the same time

Nice. Protip: carry a small pocket pistol when you make a CL transaction. Most paranoid people only ask you to raise up your shirt to look for a holster carry, the never think about the pocket.

I wasn't saying that you necessarily got crazy... But the dad crazy eyes but you're acting calm. Lol. And definitely not questioning the relationship y'all have... My dad and I have an amazing relationship, but I still got that look and tried to make him feel better by acting innocent....

last time I sold my Buick
I met three guys in a sams parking lot
I was packing a 380 in my pocket
Sams security guard asks me if I’m ok as my company and I don’t match
They wanted to take it for a test drive, I said ok
Sat with my hand in my pocket the entire time
Everything went smooth

Edit: got it, guy looked sketchy as fuk, told me people were trying to buy it for more than he was selling bs

Gone 1 day and you old bastards moved this thread 3 pages! Do you people not work? haha

AS for having daughters, I have 2 and they are both adults now. You just don't think about what they are doing on their dates. If you think about what you guys did to your dates when you were teenagers, they are doing the same thing. My issue is they both took after me and I'm an over achiever at everything I do! haha

I had my 12 year old's best friend (who is 13) ask me what I do if my kid called me a kunt last night. I looked at my daughter, flabbergasted. And she follows up with, "I hate that word"

Do parents think kids growing up with the internet aren't learning things waaay sooner than we ever did? You can block every halfway naughty thing in your own household but you can guarantee there are kids all around them at school who's parents don't and those kids are spreading the info. They are far more aware than we ever were.
