Perhaps because it seems you can't hold an opinion without feeling the need to criticize others for liking something you don't?
My whole issue is that there's a million of these movies being made instead of movies with substance.. Compare the number of superhero movies coming out in the late 90's - mid 2000 (golden era of movies imo) to now.. Hollywood prefers going with the safe and easy way of pump and dumping these superhero movies and apparently anything with good stories goes on TV/netflix now.. Which sucks for people that prefer movies/don't have time to watch series.
It's kind of hard to argue that an overarching story line more than a decade in the making, the character development, and the universe they've built over the course of more than a dozen movies lacks substance. The substance isn't necessarily only in the individual movie itself (like with these origin stories), but how it fits within the Marvel universe and tells a much larger story. You might not like the substance, but it's there. And there's a big difference between just pumping and dumping another super hero movie (see any recent DC movie for a contrast) and what Marvel is accomplishing with its universe. But in the end, if you don't like it, just don't watch it...

Lol, again Im not disagreeing that its a bit of a reach, but if thats how she feels, then thats how she feels. She does point out, if you actually look into it and not just read a story someone else wrote (i did actually read the article, then went further by looking for more information than a single article), that its inappropriate for an employee to ask for a customer's number. I agree with that. I havent seen an account where the tsa agent goes further than just asking for her number. So, i don't think its outrageous, like she may have felt, i do find it inappropriate behavior from the tsa agent. Go ahead with your negs and insults all the while not raging, lol.

I just thought of a crazy theory on the Skrulls after Infinity War.

The Skrulls typically shapeshift into people with power and use subertfuge to gain the upper hand. Being in a war with the Kree that are using super soldiers, the Skrulls are behind in the arms race. So the Skrulls either want to replicate the Kree's experiments or use their experiments against the Kree.

Who in the MCU has power? Who is continually trying to control the super heroes? Who has been the biggest pain in the ass?

This fits in line with comic lore, during Secret Invasion it was revealed that Skrulls took over various characters of influence. They didn't kill the original though.

If your a comicbook fan, have strong strong nostalgia and have been following MCU's universe, regardless if this movie is ok or not as itself, you'll be hype as it ties in w/ IW and IW sequel and just the overall MCU as a whole storyline.

Ppl dont understand this movie isnt meant to be great as a standalone. I see it as nothing more than a character introduction and a buildup to IW sequel which happens to be a month before it

The first movie in comic movies, generally hasnt been good as the follow ups when they dont have to establish as much and can just have fun in the sandbox
