Holee Jeeeeeeezus! This would be my only issue with mandatory paternity tests. If there is any chance they could be wrong, it would ruin an entire family.

I also don't know what I'd do if that happened to me. Would I want my biological child back? Or would I want to keep the one I'd raised. Good lord. I can't even fathom it.

I would get a pat test for this reason also. Mix ups at hospitals do happen.

DNA test done s/p 6 months of the birth of my son(thank god he's mine).

Never trust anyone with your welfare in mind.

thank god my daughter is my twin in almost everyway.

if i woke up tomorrow to news thats shes not actually DNA related i dont think i could just stop being her dad. it would just be like i adopted her. id be devastated, but it would cause unrepairable damage if i abandoned her

What pisses me off is that these progressive countries see this productive man as a ATM machine. They know that if the biological fathers haven't stepped forward they probably never will. They also (wouldn't admit it) know that the mother is an idiot and will never be able to provide for them herself. The system is already overloaded with slag so the system doesn't want to be responsible. Socialist ideals are what's good for the people as a whole, not the individual, so they will wreck a person's life if they feel the benefit is worth it.
