This example doesn't make sense to the abortion example. Abortion is still a very big decision the woman has to make.


You do know that a woman takes a lot more risk carrying a child than a man? What is the man doing that the woman isn't? Both have a say in raising the child, and both have to pay for the child.

The man doesn't have to carry a living child in his body for 9 months. This doesn't include weight gain, illness, swollen body parts, monthly doctor appointments, irregular pain if the baby is pressing on the body, etc. I don't know enough because I haven't carried, but I've known plenty of pregnant women.

The dad gets a say in the child's life.

In my experience conservatives tend to be much tougher, at least around here. Military, police, people into fighting, etc. I guess fighting is a decent half and half mix who don't typically lean far left or right, kind of like myself. But if I had to classify which extreme was tougher, it would be the conservative side.

I don’t believe in shaking-up so I stay with my gf on the weekends and hangout with her friends and their kids which is surprisingly a lot of fun.

I avoid engaging with female posters here and never talk about personal stuff with female coworkers. And they always go out of their way to tell me how much they appreciate me and I do to. Because we have mutual respect for eachother. Although we will never be “friends.” And I sure as hell won’t be around any “girl talk”

First paragraph: I don't understand what you mean with "shaking-up", and confused by the remainder. Glad you talk to people with friends of children. When any of them were pregnant, did they or your GF ever bring it up as a "dinner conversation".

Second paragraph: I'm surprised you don't even get to know each other at work. You're network and build relationships with that. Even if you don't spend time after work, you want to get along and get to know them a bit.

It's not really girl talk, if you see a women looking uncomfortable walking, they can easily bring up why.

Sorry I meant shacking up, like living with her as if we are married. Some call it playing house.

I’ve literally never heard them talk about pregnancy. I’ve been around her preganant friends too and maybe they just know I don’t want to hear about it. Plus we are usually doing fun stuff where the topic won’t come up.

My coworkers live 400 miles away and I don’t even know what they look like even though we depend on eachother to get things done. I work remotely in sales.

I’m just personally pro-life. I never said abortion should be against the law. Although I wouldnt care if it was.
