Hard to hate on Khabib. He kept his emotions in check through out the promo tour, proceeds to beat the **** out of Connor. On ground and standing up. And goes full spider man after the tap out.

He shouldn't have done it but I understand why he did.

This was the first UFC match ive ever watched. I thought, as it was happening, that this probably happens a lot. I was sort of shocked that the announcers were so surprised.

I am glad Conner lost. I don't like his attitude etc. Not really a fan of either. Looked like Khabib controlled the whole fight for the most part.

IDK why the UFC is so upset. This will be on news sites etc and it will get more views and reach more people than this fight was already going to. Doubt Khabib gets stripped.

a lot of butthurt white boys bashing khabib on social media, it's hilarious.

i'm the biggest conor fan but he has crossed the line so many times with fighters, it's one of the reasons he's so popular. only this time he ran into a better fighter who wasn't fazed by his talk and whooped his ass.

conor called the guy's dad a coward and labelled the dagestani people backstabbers who would turn on the chechens. dagestanis and chechens were allies in the 2 civil wars with russia that only happened in the 90s. those wars were brutal and khabib's team grew up through them, these people ain't millennial chads and timothies from downtown california. your family and people's honour is everything in that life, rightly or wrongly.

what khabib and his team did post fight was NOTHING considering everything that happened and was said pre-fight.

They're not upset, but they need to keep the idea of civility.

The UFC loves this, the hype, the coverage, the angles.

I think tony would get mauled just like Conor did. He wouldn’t gas but he’d still get held down and worked. Not a fight even remotely interesting IMO. Only person I think has a shot not to get handled and toyed with on the ground is GSP, who I think would most likely win and is the only opponent worthwhile right now.

As far as Conor goes, he needs to win a few fights in spectacular fashion before he will be taken seriously again.

This is all pre-arranged.

Maybe not officially like in the WWE where they follow a script, but McGregor is doing this stuff to build hype for the next pay-per-view event. He's taken a page out of the WWE manual, even if he's not pre-coordinating it with Dana White or the other fighter in advance.

Hard to believe Dana White isn't in on it though.

This is all an act to get people to buy the next pay-per-view. Without a perpetual "heel vs. babyface" angle/storyline, WWE wrestling would have died long ago and the same fate was awaiting UFC. UFC is just morphing into what it inevitably would become, which is a version of the WWE with the only difference being that inside the polygon is actually real.

Khabib actually assaulted people. Conor never punched or attacked anyone. That's the problem. Most of Conors stuff was just scare tactics or antics.
