Ehhh you'd be surprised. I recently took a home inspection course and my instructor has done very well for himself.

Anyways his neighbor is F***in loaded. And my instructor just does yardwork for him. Additional 40k a year. When people say it's all about who you know they aren't lying.

Context here matters a lot.

If you are 25, have all debt paid off, own a home and car and have 150K in the bank that your earned personally, I would say that this 150K represents a lot of $.

This as a starting point should easily allow you to retire young with many millions of $.

If you make 150K a year and after a decade still have a mountain of debt and technically own nothing you are more or less poor.
Eat in a deficit to lose weight.
Hit your protein and fat minimums to stay healthy and keep your gainz.
Lift heavy and do HIIT to look and feel awesome.
Use the internet to learn why you should do these things and how to do these things.

We could definitely help each other out considering we work the same market in the same area. I work with dozens of real estate agents and could do a sit down with you on how to market and get your material into their hands.

I mean if somebody wins $150k on a bet or they are making 150k per month I would be impressed. It's a lot of money to get short term. But if somebody was showing off that they make 150k/year or that they have 150k savings I'd just lol in their face

Between my brother and I we are collecting more than $12,000 a month in rent.

This is a side gig for both of us BTW, we could quit this at any time and just sell the buildings. They are already renovated and rented, hardly a hard sell.

We are currently setting up trusts for each building and then a LLC that owns all of the trusts so that the buildings are legally separated from each other and from us.

The LLC also lets us sell the entire business as one unit if we ever want out.

I honestly have no idea how you did so poorly with this. Anyone with startup capital and an IQ above 80 should be able to do this with ease.

Maybe the UK is just a terrible place to business.

Great job on leaving out all the information that would determine how good an investment this is. I’d be staggered if it was in the ballpark of what you were claiming in the thread you linked. If I’m wrong, I’ll admit it..

Total investment, borrowings, overheads, taxes, vacancies? Purchase price and date, approximate area?
