I'd be totally OK with having this be the punishment for people like this who kill families drunk driving/kill anyone or just anyone driving over the legal limit:

0:37

Tie em up by the head and then take a gash out of their flesh and hook it up to a pick up truck and skin em alive... Then just leave em there til they die. SRS

Some of you may think I'm fcked up for saying this, but I wonder how many people would drink and drive knowing this is the punishment......

That's because most people who drink don't drive, not because drinking makes one a better driver.

Drinking significantly raises the probability of getting into an accident, either as a driver or as a pedestrian.

is it specifically drunk driving that makes you feel this way or you think all people who kill another deserve this?

My brothers father-in-law got hit by a drunk driver about a month ago at like 2pm. Head on collision, dude swerved across the highway. My in-law not long ago sold his Mazda3 and bought a truck to pull his camper around. Dude would most likely of been dead had he still had that Mazda3.

I make an effort to stay off the road from between 12am-5am. That's prime time for bars closing and drunks heading home. But fk... 2pm in the afternoon... wtf can you do?

Sleepy drivers and distracted (phone) drivers freak me out more than drunks. I went ape-chit on my old man one time when i caught him falling asleep at the wheel. Worst part about that chit is that people don't think its as dangerous as drunk driving when it is ... if not worse.

Having been a motorcycle owner has definitely made me 100x more aware and concerned of bullchit that happens while driving.

Update: Authorities in Ohio are trying to piece together what happened before the accident and are looking for individuals who may have seen this vehicle driving erratically on the I-75 at around 8pm on March 17th:

This. If you even have a shred of remorse or empathy, it's a life sentence. I honestly don't know how you'd live with it.

A lot of people tend to lack those two things, though.

They should really put a prison sentence on drunk driving / texting while driving.
I agree. Should be 1 year jail time first DUI, and 5-10 year sentence and revoked license for life for a second.

Damn man, so sad.

Is a $20 Uber really so expensive? This cost people life, smh.

Also, people need to learn to control their emotions better. She was going through things, but her actions caused other people harm smh.

I'd pay $500 for an Uber. It sure as hell beats this or a $10k DUI charge

The issue is that criminals always think they're the exception, that they won't get caught, that's why no punishment is a deterrent.

My thing is, if someone is caught drinking and driving, revoke their license for 5 years, first offense. Second offense is revoked for life. In addition to fines and jail time.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

If this girl had sex with a guy that night, he would be going to jail.

Because she was in a car, she will be going to jail.

Are women responsible for their actions when drunk, or not?

dunno brah, sloots like this tend to have a way of justifying it to themselves / deflecting blame / not taking responsibility for actions.

I'm sure she will find some guys to soothe her guilt (while they try and have sex with her).

My condolences...

Here in Vancouver, a few years back some driver t-boned a SUV/van (ran a red light).

In the car was.. a wife, 2 kids, wife's mother-in-law and her sister-in-law.

The only person who was not in it was the husband/guy. He was working at a restaurant (they own it).

No one survived. More than 50% of his family was gone because of some cnut who couldn't stop. I think he only has his dad and/or brother.

Uh, me?

I'm 6'4", 220 pounds. Two martinis or manhattans over dinner means it's either a very long dinner, somebody else is driving, or I'm taking an Uber/walking.

I'm somewhat sympathetic to people who get nailed at .05-.08. I wouldn't let it happen, but I can see how that can happen by mistake if you just have honest-to-God poor judgment or don't realize how much you've been poured. People who are slurring their speech and wobbling on their feet but still get behind the wheel are scum of the Earth. They know damn well what they're doing and put mild inconvenience ahead of human life.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Has to do with how the drunk people are more limp during the crash IIRC; when not drunk you stiffen up as a reaction and that leads to more trauma. When relaxed your body tends to move more with the crash and it leads to less injury.
