Imagine being this vain and self-obsessed as a grown man.

Brah,

We're chatting on a BODYBUILDING website that's filled to the brim with folk who are obsessed with their appearance; it might as well be called Narccisism Central.

We all know of a girl who is fake as hell with botox lip injections and perhaps has had an ass lift or a boob job or whatever else. A girl so deeply in the clutches of narcissism that she can't help but obsess over her appearance. Opie is simply the male counterpart to that.

All I would say to any miscers reading is that if you find you are very judgemental of the kind of girl I described, then think long and hard before going down the same path as Opie.

If you need hair to try and be good looking... then you're not good looking.

Christian Monzon would still take away every single one of your girlfriends while laughing at your insecure hair plugs.

I looked at micropigmentation but that really only helps if you're shooting for much shorter hair, like a buzz cut. And it's mostly temporary or else you get the greenish hue after a few years.
Micropigmentation can make everything look thicker, and it also can cover up strip scars.

I'm 13 months away from turning 40. In all that time I'd never cut my own hair.

During this quarantine I don't have much of a choice - here's me yesterday morning. Pics taken about 20 minutes apart.

I was actually thinking about how I should have just stayed bald - this would have been wayyyy easier. Looking forward to the barber shops reopening

I don't really know what to say.

Do you look better than before? Yes.

But at what cost? Sounds like you basically spent your 20s and 30s, saving up and then having repeated hair transplants.

Some guys start losing their hair, say it sucks, but move on, get married, have familes.

Other guys let it completely consume them. I hope you're happy now. Good luck.

Look awesome OP went from Timmy to Brad. I'd imagine the less grafts you get the faster you see the results right?

Are you saying it sounds like he spent his 20s and 30s saving for a HT without doing much meaningful?

If so, how did you come to that conclusion?

Yes, that is my educated guess.

He may have a great family, with a beautiful wife and kids, with a nice house.

Or he may be single, no kids, doesn't own his home, turning 40, after spending 40 grand, and years of his life having 5 transplants.

One hair transplant is a big time commitment, but 5?

Looks legit. The problem is lack of donor hair and big scars in the back. Otherwise I'd drop some change on it too.

I guess we’d have to hear it from OP.... but I didn’t take this thread as him not doing meaningful or eventful things that have value (which is subjective) in his 20s and 30s. You can go through a HT journey and still do chit in your day to day. It doesn’t have to be one or the other.

In regards to the married w/kids & a house, is this something he said he was looking for?

OP never shows the back of his head because its thin AF back there. Follicles dont grow on trees, they just pinched them from the back and put them in the scalp. Hes still bald, but bald where you cant see it face on

Well said - I think GiveMeTheD was projecting. Paying for the surgeries didn't impact my income significantly, and the difference in women that I date from before and after is night & day. I would not have wanted to be married to any girl that I was pulling prior to my hair restoration.
