DLo missed 3 of their games so far.... Dray missed 4 I think... that hasn’t helped things.

Also.... lol at Harden just cooking the Clips tonight for 47. Interesting that Mr. “Best 2 way player in the game” Kawhi Leonard couldn’t do **** to stop him.

This lmao. That series was great; Harden 3, foul on that absolute ******* Beverly, and foul on Doc

Clippers not looking impressive, let's see what happens if PG comes back in New Orleans

The Klaw was load managing in-game tonight. Guarding PJ Tucker.
LakeShow.

Paul Pogba dabbed with the WC trophy.

Kyler Murray isn't that short.

Raps took another soul last night.

R.I.P. Dame Lillard. 2/12.... 9pts.

3-1 so far on one of the most brutal toad trips out there (Pels, Lakers, Clips, Blazers, Mavs).

Let’s see what they do with Luka.

Cs have the next 5 games GS, SAC, PHX, LAC, DEN coming up. Not as bad, but definitely a tough 3 game stretch at the end.

Love what I'm seeing right now though. I was trolling before, but I really think no team has a better top 4 scorers than the Cs.

Walker - 25.0
Brown - 20.1
Tatum - 19.8
Hayward - 18.9

83.8 PPG between them. Only Houston Rockets have a better 4 scorers and that's because Harden+Westbrook combine for 59.6.

does it really matter when HOU will just set an illegal screen with the worst defender's man and run a 20 second iso step back?

pulled out the box and one for stretches last night.
how many times have we seen Portland just get decimated by pressure on their ball handlers with the lack of a play making PnR guy (esp with Collins out)
Trade Collins for Draymond and this team wouldve been a Finals at least once imo

If the Blazers can't get Love going for Dray might be their next best bet..... and you'd have to think that the Dubs might be considering getting out of that contract and using the money somewhere else (Giannis?) if they can.

It's not the ref's fault James Harden is so good at drawing fouls. If every player in the league could do it, they would.

people act like there is some sort of NBA conspiracy as to why Harden gets all the calls

the guy blurs the lines between what are travels/fouls and uses every tactic in the book to draw a foul. everybody does, Harden just happens to do it a lot better than everybody. It just doesn't work that well in the playoffs as your main offense because the refs tend to let the players play more physical. When you go 2/20 from 3 but aren't 25/25 from the free throw line, yeah, that's not going to be a good look for Harden come playoffs.

Exactly that ^^^^

Harden actually tries to generate foul calls... and he does it all game long. Why should anyone be shocked that he goes to the line more than any other player?

Wish Harden didn't rely on getting fouls to score more, he definitely has the talent. That makes the Rockets boring to watch honestly

I don't think there's a team built to go toe-to-toe with a healthy Clippers team in the last minutes of the game at a tied score, true crunch time. In theory they should have an airtight defence on the perimeter whilst having great/amazing firepower on the other end. Only guys like AD/Durant/Boogie could consistently should over them or bully their man.

Unreal how deep they are. But there are a looot of good teams in the NBA now, Clippers are super good but they aren't playing on god mode like prime GSW. Excited for the finals again.

Plus Lebron actually playing D again, was starting to think his tank was starting to run on empty.

unfortunately the clippers havent been that great being a bottom 10 team in that department. kawhi's defense is a bit overstated at this point in his career, possibly due to increased offensive load and chronic knee issues. paul george just came back. bev is a great defender and montrezl is a decent mobile big. outside of that clippers arent really that great defensively. even with paul george I think they are probably in the 10-12th range defensively if we are being realistic here. The raptors even without Kawhi are shutting players/teams down on the defensive end and were a much better team defensively last year than what the Clippers can be at their peak.

Yes looks like the reports of LeDecline were overstated (although he only has his fastball 2/10 games now). he doesnt really have great lift at the rim anymore though which is really impacting his at rim %

this. Montrezl isnt really a great defensive big. Louis is meh.

i get their defensive peak being insane on the perimeter with kawhi / PG, but i dont really think theyre a lock to be a defensive mosnter.

So Melo's debut

10 points, 4/14, a -20 plus/minus in 23 minutes which is -10 worse than the 2nd worse on the team

loss to the Pelicans, sounds about right.

I’m just waiting for the inevitable blow up when POR realizes that Nasir Little should be starting over Melo.

Should be funny.
