Why on Earth wouldn't you load the 2nd mag to capacity?

Loading and unloading is stress on the spring but being partially loaded to the same level isn't.

The box I purchased was 20rds. I keep one magazine fully loaded. Stuck the rest of the rounds in the other mag vs just leaving them in the box with one mag empty. That's really the only reason.
Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

I have a collapsible baton and a wooden training sword close to the bed.

I figure anyone breaking in would be pretty poverty in the first place so a well placed hit on the elbow or ear should pretty much run them off. Not like I am housing the crown jewels here.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Springfield 1911 .45 TRP w/ Extended Mag in my nightstand. She's a beauty. Desert Eagle hidden in secret spot in my living room in case somebody tries to get cute when I'm awake. Only time I've pulled one is when two crackheads were walking on my roof at 3am a couple months back. Pulled out the Deagle and had them wait until the cops came to arrest.
