one of our bankers says they are still preparing applications in anticipation of the government re-funding the program, but as of now if your banker didn't like you your application is still on his desk

The purpose of the program was to pay employees wages during the 2 month shutdown, if you maintain your payroll you get to keep the funds

so everyone else is about to have a massive wave of layoffs since they are not getting paycheck protection funds

I know my company held back in anticipation of assistance, since we routinely chit on our bankers, we didn't get it, and the layoffs will start up next week.
Knowing all of this you still have morons like Cuomo saying hes staying with the shutdown for foreseeable future etc

One thing is for sure....nobody is going back to the pro climate change living like a caged animal life. It's all about spacious homes near some trails, no elevators and obnoxious neighbors and driving everywhere cus public transport is gross, every other lifter is trying to build a homegym, etc.

can we not apply the same principles to other businesses in regards to social distancing? We can open up gyms and restrict the number of people inside by signing up for time slots. Tons of different approaches we can take. Let the healthy people out and keep the elderly and sick quarantined.

I'm not saying lets just open everything at once but we have to make some progress. it seems that most want to sit home and watch netflix while taking money from the government.

unfortunately everyone will eventually have to catch this virus. it's not going to magically go away.

Hospitals get paid by the number of corona deaths. It is in their best interest to inflate that number. Democrats know this. It'll prolong the quarantine to ruin trump's chances.

Everything about this ******* ass cold has been grossly exaggerated by conniving libcuck dems. These democrats should be sentenced to death for this chit srs.

I also couldn't care less about the 80 year olds dying from this. They already lived fantastic lives. They didn't sacrifice the prime of their youths to save some oldcels. Why do we have to do that? They should voluntarily seppuku in my opinion srs. It's fukked how selfish they are.

"Those who give up liberty for security deserve neither" It's really a shame that modern day societies are dominated by spineless SJW cucks and allow this chit to happen. Founding Fathers would have put some heads on pikes. Sick and tired of these virtue signaling SJW cucks ruining this world. We need a revolution srs.
I'd probably entertain your delusions if I weren't a doctor in a major hospital, you need to see a psychiatrist for your obvious lack of empathy for human life, it's most likely NPD.

I know this better than most.

You fail to understand the implications of letting a highly contagious infection spread, you cannot grasp tens of millions of dead year by year due to a single virus, it's happened before with H1N1.

Once you start losing loved ones, or see otherwise healthy young people succumb to this illness like I have, then you'll start to grasp how serious the situation is.

I cannot imagine the level of paranoia some of you live in to believe this is political or some kind of control measure to make you miserable, the world doesn't shut down unless it's absolutely necessary. It's been 100 years since anything like this has happened.

Maybe you didn't get the memo, but...

If it weren't for Covid19, no one would die. Ever.

Once the weather is better, it will be worse with people itching to get out more. But, immune systems will be better? Layman opinion. As long as the high congregation areas are forcibly closed and appropriate measures are taken, I don't expect we will see a giant spike.
