I mean more like the outskirts of OKC, very beautiful homes and environment to explore. OKC has all the jobs and I get to drive only 20 minutes to go back home. Currently, drive an hour just to work in CA.

Do you dislike just OKC or all of Oklahoma?

If you are liberal or moderate, it's better to just stay in CA. Because eventually progressive policy ends up like CA since they always do things first before the Democrat party follows them.

I wouldn't mind a red state with bigger homes, but I would have a hard time finding work

Great Falls Montana. You need to be thinking ahead of the Libs. Idaho is already too far gone.

Montana has pretty sparse accounting jobs in Great Falls as well does Billings from what I saw just now. Also the housing market legit looks about the same as OKC except wages are almost entry level.

Liberal commiefornians should go to New York.

I just looked at Wyoming on Indeed and there is barely anything recent (within a week) for jobs in the whole state.

I am CPA in public accounting. Live in California. I am libertarian.

Let me know where you decide. Remote work situation because of COVID and thinking of moving out of this state.

I like the weather but $4k/month rent is too much.

Edit: wow it’s been awhile since I’ve misced.

You're planning on a negative. That's not ideal.
Don't run away from what you don't like.
Picture what you want and take that.

Can I ask? Do you have a luxury apartments with roommates? Is that just a regular beatdown apartment.

Very strongly thinking Oklahoma. Lots of accounting jobs even during COVID, so it's my best bet. If you love the heat, you will like Oklahoma as it gets hotter only during summer (personally, I hate summer, but at least it's only 4 months in OK vs 24/7 in CA), but at least it has 4 seasons even if the snow isn't much.

We have to promise to not vote Democrat, unless we want it to turn to CA with its "'progressive" gun laws.

Be aware if you are afraid of guns, you aren't gonna be welcome as it's a constitutional carry state.

Decent houses are $200,000 and less.

Also be aware the state doesn't seem to take too kindly to illegals, so hopefully you don't have a soft spot for them.

Now that I have the ability to leave this third world country (ran by democrats) I am never thinking about voting democrat in my life.

I want a family, house, decent work, and a govt that doesn't support bs laws regarding illegal aliens, guns, and covid.

Want a family because I've always wanted kids.

I want a house, as I have always lived in the barrio in an apartment. I have never had a yard, so it just seems so unreal that I will actually be able to own my own home at an extremely reasonable price. If you don't believe me, the trailer parks in CA are more expensive (plus the permanent lease payment that is $1000+ a month) than a awesome house in OK. Rent at this ****ty apartment in the barrio is on the market for $2K compared to a mortgage in any other state where it is only $800-$900 depending if you pay 20% or more as a down payment.

Decent work because I don't want to be unemployed as soon as I move states

Sick of California offering homeless services, healthcare, and unemployment to illegals.

CA has effectively banned guns and made it so people like me are afraid to own a gun due all the changing gun laws every year.(don't want to get charged with a felony).

Covid parks are closed down and we aren't technically supposed to be walking outside unless we have a mask on (even though a lot of people don't follow it).
If you don't wear a mask here, the corrupt sheriff's department can charge you with a misdemeanor (thus preventing me from owning a gun in many states considering they will probably call it assault and then call it a day)

I am also sick of all the liberals here telling me that we need to have a full gun ban and that illegals need our help.
