Just sayin
Just sayin
The knee on the neck was a legal practice in MN and had caused no deaths before that.

Yes. There definitely is, there was none which is why Baker concluded against asphyxiation.
Baudin had the luxury of making a ruling while the heart was out and used minimal facts to draw "mechanical asphyxiation" as a cause. Hes pretty slick and even in his own words said he excluded it and disregarded Bakers preliminary findings while it was out for examination at the lab.

We'll see (as in the transcript) Floyd go into delirium. The rookie who was just trained on the subject mentioned it a couple of times.
Although the public at large largely has no idea what or why it's being leaked, legal observers are watching the case fall apart.
Today...Chauvin was eliminated as a racist motivated to murder. Floyd resisted and put himself to the exact place where he died on his own volition.
Edit
I agree with the sentiment that it sets up having to know his medical condition

Not attacking you but how do you not want to see justice carried out against a murderer? Do you not consider it murder? I am very curious. And before I get attacked, this isn't even a racial question. Any cop who abuses his power and kills an unarmed, handcuffed dude deserves the harshest sentence IMO.
Watching the full leaked vid, it’s not obvious he did.
1) his knee restraint was legal specially to those resisting arrests. Did Floyd resist arrest? Yes, quite heavily in fact and even his friends was telling him to stop resisting arrest but he was too high.
2) George floyd asked to be laid on the ground because he wouldn’t go inside the car with the windows rolled down. So the visual of him laying on the ground, he asked for it!
3) he said he couldn’t breath BeFORE the cops were even touching him. So when he said it when he probably couldn’t breath, why would they believe him? He was saying it throughout whilst standing.
4) the amount of drugs in his system, it’s very possible that the stress and panic attack is what triggered whatever it is that killed him, not necessarily from strangulation or air/blood flow restriction. Again, this is what the trial is to confirm.
So it’s absolutely not cut and dry. The trial is for this reason and you seem to have conducted your own trial in your head.

only somebody who truly hates America would let Chauvin walk.
even if you somehow find him innocent (the bastard is 100% guilty and sick) then you should at least throw him under the bus for the sake of this nation.

He will be trialed and he should get whatever it is he deserves to get, whether that is, prison or walk away, I don’t care, as long as the trial and jurors are fair.

You're a child molester because I say so. Now we learn at your trial that you're likely not a chester chomo. But the state has complete authority to state anything they want in any manner they want. The state isn't intended to be fair in court, they're there to win with the facts gained from the investigation.
Seem fair? You've spent all your life savings and sold your mom's house to fight a child molestation charge. Novel concept isn't it? Investigate thoroughly, indict, go to court.
Justice shouldn't bow to mob rule. Ever. The state shouldn't bring grey to citizen. It submits probable cause to an independent and indifferent arbiter and then proceeds.

Didn't read this thread, I don't need to. In the US to be convicted of a criminal act you have to be proven "beyond a reasonable doubt." Basically means if this guy was on drugs or whatever and it is "possible" had some sort of a heart attack or whatever the cops are going to walk. Will bet my life all of the cops get off. Has nothing to do with if I like Chauvin, he seems like he is a piece of sh*t but judges and juries make decisions based on laws. And he is going to walk. I could get him off easily.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read.
The rule of law should stand above all. ESPECIALLY above the mob. Fuk the mob and fuk mob justice. The day the courts bend to the appease the mob is the day America is dead. If he is found innocent then he walks, the end. If he's found guilty, then he doesn't.
In a sane world this would discredit the neo-marxist movement but we all know that won't happen.

Listen IDC that you homos have a chitty bodycam video that's supposed to somehow offer a pathetic attempt to justify this torture.
I saw the torture, it went on for 8 minutes, and that's all we really needed to see since...
I've seen school shooters, rapists, and murderers get treated better by police officers!! Even when they resist! Therefore, Derek Chauvin could have restrained his stupid egoistical self.
The crowd at the scene wanted him off, was aware that Floyd was dying and he continued out of spite.
Sure George Floyd was a bum but the way he died was SICK and VILE, few humans deserve to die the way he did, he was NOT one of those people.
If justice prevails, he will go to PRISON. The body cam of Floyd resisting proves and justifies absolutely nothing, he was tortured.
Can't believe it, ya'll are the 'he dindu nuffin he wuz a good cop' simps.

And what's with the "most Americans"? Strong assumption. The investigation findings which will be revealed at the trial will probably have most of the population finding him not guilty, calling it now. You're saying lock him up regardless what the large public, the jurors and what the evidence says, to appease the mob left?
OK.

Mobs do not get to declare the verdict or determine justice.
That is literally the entire point of the law.
It's amazing to even have to type these words to someone
"lmao hey everyone i'm retardwave let me just gloss over the context of the entire incident and selectively confirm bias an out of context snippet of the video to confirm my own prejudices. I love mob rule and make sh!tty decisions purely based on emotion and not facts!!! Let me gloss over the resisting arrest for 10 minutes! Let me gloss over the drug overdose! Let me gloss over the "i can't breathe" before any restraint is applied! Let me gloss over his request to be placed on the ground because feeling claustrophobic! Let me gloss over the fact that he was about to drive high as a kite! Let me gloss over the fact that he had covid and spreading it to everyone! Let me gloss over the knee being on the back on the neck and that he could talk calling it choking! Let me call arrests torture! MOST OF ALL, HOW DARE YOU NOT LET ME IDOLIZE A CAREER CRIMINAL!!"
You are actually the one making decisions based on emotion. Cops deal with people who resist arrest every single day, and many times these are far worse criminals than George was. Nothing that George Floyd did was worthy of lethal force, do I really have to explain that to you? I told you, you are emotionally charged. Let me ask you, why do any of George's crimes matter when there are thousands of resisted arrests per year that happen with criminals who murder, rape, etc.? Can you answer me why all cops are able to keep school shooters and serial rapists alive in their custody but are unable to get off the neck for 8 minutes of a petty career criminal? The distinction is that Derek Chauvin is a little chit face, you are victim blaming George Floyd and it's pathetic. Let me repeat it in case you don't understand, cops deal with criminals who literally shoot at them 2 minutes ago, dropped their gun run but still resist arrest. These criminals end up alive. They are 10x worse than Floyd but the officers are able to keep their cool. Officers risk their lives everyday to do it the right way - then you have the little coward in this equation is Derek Chauvin. He is a bad cop, he dishonors the good cops who act with integrity and deserves punishment.
"Most people overestimate what they can do in a year, and underestimate what they can do in ten years"

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.
