No, it is because they know the demographics of registered voters and predict the results barring any divergence. Early results probably show divergence within a margin to keep VA blue.

Going to be a long drawn out election guys. We probably won't have an official winner for 2-3 weeks.

Registered to vote months ago. Checked the status when i never received any mail...info not found.

Registered again a few weeks ago. Checked the status today...no info found.

Had to go to my voting spot and register as a new voter so I could put my vote in.
